Picky cats love it
5 stars bc my cats are so picky about oils and additives. Both cats eat their food with it on top like nothing was added. They even watch me add it and still chow down. So, no issues so far, and already noticing dandruff clear up within a week. ABOUT THE DROPPER: I just leave a shot glass next to the bottle for the dropper to live in. Easy, no mess, no issues. People are just looking for something to complain about. If you REALLY want a dropper bottle, you can buy empty ones for cheap and just order this as a refill. It's not rocket science.

Was worth the try, but no.
My cats didn't care for this at all; they wouldn't touch their food if I added this. The dropper it comes also could also use some replacing. The rubber dropper is not actually attached, and when you squeeze it comes off, which is annoying because now you have fish smell all over your fingers. Not something I'm fond of smelling in the early a.m when I feed my cats breakfast.

No problem with the cats accepting this addition to their food. Buy a better dropper!
I do think this fish oil is a quality product based on its certifications and listed ingredients. Also, my two cats gobbled up their wet food to which we applied the fish oil. No hesitation. No complaints. I know all cats are unique in their eating habits, but that's my two data points with regard to how well my cats adapted to this new ingredient in their food. My only complaint, as the title states, is the dropper. First of all, it takes many tries before I can finally get 0.75ml in the dropper. Most of the time, no matter how much I try to squeeze the rubber tube fully, it is insufficient and I only get 0.25ml to 0.5ml in the dropper. I understand that every penny spent to manufacturer each bottle hits Nordic Naturals at their bottom line. I'm sure that's why they don't supply a better dropper. The solution is simple. Just buy a better dropper. It costs very little. Maybe Nordic Naturals could simply say on the box that each bottle comes with a basic dropper to get them going. But for long term use, they recommend buying a nice, glass dropper with a large bulb that will easily draw up to a 1 ml or more of oil at once. I know I can't link fellow customers to the droppers I bought on Amazon. But the ones I bought work incredibly well and make the whole process of giving your pet the correct amount of fish oil so much easier. The title of the droppers I bought on Amazon was..."4 Pack, 1 mL Glass Eye Dropper with Measurement - Long & Short, Bent & Straight Tip Calibrated Glass Medicine Droppers, Accurate Dose Pipette Dropper for Essential Oils, Feeding, Ear, Lab, Health Care." I wanted to get droppers certified for feeding and these met that requirement."

Read the instructions, will require a magnifying glass
Cat loved it, at first. My only complaint is that the instructions for “refrigerate after opening” were in VERY small print at the end of instructions that all required a magnifying glass to read and I may have made my cat sick by giving him rancid fish oil. I would suggest the manufacturer make storage instructions more prominent!!!

Critical thinking may be necessary
Yes, the dropper it comes with is absolutely terrible. Just throw it away and then you don't have to complain about it anymore. But before you toss it, order a new 2oz bottle that comes with a marked glass dropper and replace the lid on the Nordic Naturals bottle. Then just keep the lid you replaced it with after you replace your empty Nordic Naturals bottle. Wow, your problem has been solved and you can now move on with your life. Or you can purchase oral syringes to measure it out, if you prefer. The product itself is great. Sometimes my cat will turn her nose up when I have added other brands to her squeezy treat. With this one she did not even flinch and she ate it right up. I don't know if it helps her arthritis, joints and myriad of other issues, but it really helps her dandruff issue. No digestion troubles with my cat.

Needs A Better Dispensing System
I can't speak to whether it works or not because my cat has only been on it for 8 days and sometimes she eats her food with it and sometimes she does not. But what I can speak to is the dropper that's included. Why on Earth would they not supply a screw on dropper cap? The system that they supply is a separate flimsy dropper so you have to keep opening the bottle every morning placing the cap aside, putting in the dropper to extract the right amount and then you're stuck with an oily dropper that you have to clean and then lay on the countertop on top of a napkin where it has to stay while it dries out. Every other medication and toiletry that I've ever used came with a dropper that's screwed on and replaced the initial cap so that there wasn't a messy dropper to set aside after each use.

quality and noticeable improvements with cat's fur
This is great product, works great for my cat and cat's fur. I noticed big difference in a week. My cat is very picky with food and everything new, but I mix1 ml (as vet recommended to improve her arthritis) in her food and she eats it well. I did not noticed strong smell of oil either. It seems it might help my cat with arthritis, seems she jumps better now, but I need more time to see any definite improvements. I would definitely recommend it and will order more!

Cats disliked it
Unfortunately, this product was a complete miss for my cats. Neither of them would eat their food once I mixed this in, even when I used a small amount. It says unflavored, Had to have some kind of scent or taste that made the cats dislike it. I also found it nearly impossible to administer directly since my cats absolutely hated the taste and resisted every attempt. While it may work for some pets, mine would not tolerate it at all, so I wasn't able to see any benefits.
