First thing, please ignore the reviews that say this is gritty or like sand paper. I am pretty sure that is the beeswax in the product. Whatever it is, it melts at body temperature and is wonderfully smooth once warmed by your body. 2nd, I bought this based on a recommendation from womans-health dot com slash best-anal-lube. What really stood out to me on this site compared to pretty much every other site for recommending anal lubes, is that they clearly state why they don't recommend ANY water based lubes for back door action. I am a middle aged straight man who in the last year started to experiment with prostate massage and bought myself a silicone vibrating prostate toy. When I 1st started, I was using Astro Glide since it was my go to and had always worked great for me in the past for masturbation. However, when using Astro Glide for my butt, I kept having to re-apply like every couple of minutes. And when the toy was in a little bit longer than the Astro Glide would last for, the toy was not pleasant to get out. So, the search began for something else. Because my toy is silicone, a silicone lube was incompatible and I looked for something oil based. As mentioned above, I bought lube based off of a recommendation from a website. I was NOT disappointed, this was a complete game changer. Put some lube on the toy, get some in the back door, and I have not needed any re-application even after 20-30 minutes. Again, a complete game changer. It made it sooo much more enjoyable. I normally have about 8 insanely intense orgasms during that 20-30 minutes, at which time I have to stop because I am just so utterly spent. Decided to write this as I am about to buy my 2nd tube. ;)

The first tube worked great. The second tube did not. It was full of small “pills” that prevented flow. When it did come out was gritty and not usable

The only natural product that works for me and doesn't sting my sensitive nethers. After trying numerous natural products on the market, that caused irritation, this has been a life saver. The consistency can be a little tricky, as it's affected by the temperature, but nothing I can't work with. I would highly recommend this to anyone that has really sensitive skin. It doesn't take much either, so it lasts a long time. Side note: I tried the WB Lubricant and it caused stinging and was not as effective, as the OB.

Great product - a bit "gritty" at first but give it ten seconds to settle in and it's awesome. Terrible tube design. Constantly plugged with waxy bits. The opening is just too small. I'm not one to warm a product for 30 minutes every time i use it so I trashed the tube and transferred it to a bottle with a cap. Much better ... ;-).

Amazing product, especially if you are sensitive to other brands. Doesn't dry up and get sticky. Just make sure you warm it a bit with your hands to get the oils right.

Like other reviews have mentioned, tends to be a bit oily. The smell doesn't bother us, but it is definitely a little stronger than other lubes. Held up pretty well. Overall, not the most special, but it is good for sensitive skin!

Yes, it's expensive but certain experiences are worth a little more $. I have used and loved this stuff for years and my new partner is amazed by it. It provides a nice lubrication but doesn't feel oily or greasy, has no flavor, and doesn't get sticky. The only downside is that it can stain sheets if you get sloppy. If you keep it around too long, it can get gritty as one of the ingredients will solidify into small grains, but that means you're not getting enough action LOL.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this product. When I opened the tube, I found that the lubricant has tiny granules (feels like sand) in it. I wrote to the company's customer service dept and they explained I can warm up the product, shake it up and put it in the refrigerator to remedy the situation. If I can't use a product right out of the container without a lot of prep, I will not use it.
