Canadian quinoa, different but good
I like this quinoa. I buy it to feed to the dog as part of his vet diet. Canadian quinoa is like the sushi rice of quinoas, so yeah, it’s sticky, but it works well for holding his food together. I rinse it, then add 1:1 ratio of liquid (or a little more) to the (wet) rinsed grain. The rinsing gets rid of the bitter bite.

It's amazing, just a little different from other Quinoa Brands
This Quinoa is harvested in a different part of the world. It does taste slightly different but not by much. This is a excellent brand for taste, ease of cooking and versatility. More importantly, best bang for your buck I've found anywhere. (I eat this everyday.) If you want the traditional quinoa, trader joes has them for very cheap as well. $4 per pound but still $1.50/pound more than this brand. It seems a lot of people have trouble cooking this. It's simple. Follow this simple process for perfect quinoa every single time. 1 cup quinoa, 2 cups water. Set to 10(highest heat) Bring to a boil. Once it reaches boil(water is bubbling), lower temp to 2 (out of 10, almost lowest heat); leave it alone for 20-24 mins. Set a timer on your phone and leave it alone. Don't stir it, don't open the lid. Just leave it alone until your timer goes off. Important note: You must use a lid to cover it or it will not cook properly. I've been cooking quinoa every single day for over a year. It's a stable food in my diet.

Not worth it!
I dont understand how many of the reviewers put 4 or 5 stars. Its like you guys never had quinoa. The quinoa comes out gooey, clumpy and bitter. Ive tried cooking this in my $400 rice cooker and tried several quinoa to water ratios and it never comes out well. I like how its in a pail container but cmon u got to be joking. Worst quinoa ive ever had in my life.

Quality Product - Reasonable Price
Quinoa is a daily staple at our house. Typically, I prepare it 'sous vide' style in quart Mason jars combined with onion, lentils & pasta. I cover the dry ingredients with a liquid comprised of cashews, nutritional yeast and water (blended). After cooking for 3 hours at 194 degrees, the quinoa is perfect....every time! I've also prepared quinoa by itself 'sous vide' style and it also comes out perfect as well. This is a quality product that's nutritionally complete, non-gmo and cost-friendly. I highly recommend it as part of a healthy diet.

Cost effective purchase.
This arrived earlier than expected. This is a cost effective way to eat healthy . However it is a little bitter and it looks darker than the quinoa sold at the supermarket. But it still taste great for my everyday use as a quinoa lover. Will recommend this and purchase it again.

Good value for money, but needs extensive washing
Great value for money but the quality isn't as good as the more refined versions: have to wash a lot and it looks more dark and sticky when cooked compared to other brands I've tried

best tasting quinoa
best tasting quinoa. it is slightly sticky compared to white quinoa but tastes better. this is how i cook it... soak it for 20 minutes, rinse thoroughly in a mesh strainer, transfer to cooking vessel and add 1 cup water to 1 cup quinoa, once it comes to boil, cook in low flame until done.

gummy
This quinoa seed is very small. Normally I would cook 1 cup quinoa with 2 cups of water. This came out like glue. I read the label and realized the water was reduced to 1 and 1/4 cups. It still came out gummy. I'm not happy with the product. It's sitting in a cupboard taking up space. very discouraged.
