Sunscreen Face Fluid SPF 50, Fragrance Free, 5-Star UVA, 50 ml

This cream is light and easy to apply, and I feel it gives good coverage. I am happy with the protection it provides and believe it gives me the confidence to go out in the sun knowing I have shielded my skin against the damaging sun rays. I use this together with both SPF 30 and factor 50 of this make when I am on holiday and out in the sun for expended periods. There is no discernible fragrance. I am happy to recommend it. IN a small bottle it is ideal to keep in my bag when I am out so I can reapply if necessary.

No frills simple product with Vit E protection. Fragrance free. Lightweight feel, may look a bit shiny on application but I leave it to dry/soak in for a few mins and then brush a blotting powder on top. Never had sunburn with this. Great value for price.

This stuff is amazing. We were originally recommended this brand by an NHS dermatologist for my son's sensitive skin so I thought I'd give the face fluid a go. Its the only sunscreen that doesn't sting (at all!!!) my very sensitive skin or make any red areas even worse. My skin and red/blotchy patches have been so much better since switching to this from CeraVe's sun cream. It goes on lovely, very silky, calming and sinks in as well as other sun creams, just give it 20 mins while you get dressed/ready before applying anything on top. It's factor 50 and 5 star protection so it's really good stuff. The only reason it loses a star is because it can pill on your skin if you rub too hard and it is quite shiny, to be fair most sun creams are and it isn't as shiny as other brands. So if you use this *gently* rub/smooth it in... and to combat the shiny face the ordinary do an amazing azelaic acid cream which does wonders for your skin and is really amazing at mattifying. Just avoid your eyes and VERY gently smooth in, otherwise it will pill with the sun cream. Same for any concealer applied over the top.

As a regular user of Altruist products, this is another good one for me. Easy to apply, without leaving a greasy feel which is a big bonus. The products certainly lasts a while as I use most days in the summer and still have loads left

This is the best face SPF I have used and I’ve tried many Does not sting around the eyes like some do and really gentle on skin Sits nice on skin no pilling at all and for me actually gives a nice sheen glass skin look ! Fraction of the price of many competitors Seems to do what it should also even on holiday using this I do not get burnt or sun damage !

Decided to try a different facial suncream, as my usual one is expensive. I chose this one because it’s fragrance free, hypoallergenic, non-greasy, no white cast and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I find that it’s the complete opposite of that. It’s incredibly greasy even hours after applying, so much so that it runs into my eyes causing them to be bloodshot, blurry and sting. It leaves a white cast on my incredibly pale skin after rubbing in for at least 3 minutes. I’ve had make-up settle into wrinkles before, but never suncream! I know it’s fragrance free and will have a non-perfumed scent but it really does smell awful and the smell lingers all day. I’m really disappointed as I was hoping for a decent alternative with 5 star UVA A protection and high SPF. I also feel guilty as it’s so bad I’m not even going to continue to use it, it’s going straight into the bin as I don’t even think I can struggle through the one I have. I’ll be sticking to my usual brand from now on.

Really pleased with this sunscreen. Took a chance as loved what they stand for, really reasonably priced, and seemed to offer all the safety elements I was looking for. Rubs in nicely, not greasy (I have normal/combination >40 skin). I have medium skintone with freckles, haven't noticed any white cast - it is thick white cream when you put it on, but once rubbed in, sinks in beautifully and isn't noticeable. I hate greasy sunscreen! In general, I would definitely leave about 5 minutes after normal moisturiser before applying sunscreen, then another 5 minutes before applying make up, just to let everything absorb and avoid it all slipping around against each other. Would recommend 👌

Finalmente un solare molto efficace ad un prezzo super accessibile. Il Dr Birnie e' un dermatologo qualificato che esercita in Gran Bretagna ed e' un esperto in cancro della pelle. Ha deciso di creare questa linea perche' ha visto un aumento esponenziale nei casi di cancro alla pelle nella popolazione. Una parte del ricavato della vendita dei solari va ad una fondazione in Africa per coloro i quali sono effetti da albinismo. Il prodotto ha un ottimo INCI e nulla da invidiare a solari che costano anche 4 o 5 volte tanto: in quei casi si paga il marketing e non la qualita' degli ingredienti. Si stende facilmente e non ha alcun odore (solo un po' del solito e caratteristico odore del titanium dioxide). Non lascia alcuna patina bianca tipo mimo e dato il prezzo di 10 euro non ho alcun problema ad usarne 2ml alla volta (e' la quantità ideale per garantire la protezione 50). E' anche un ottima base per il fondotinta grazie al silicone. Non ha alcun effetto di pilling ed e' adatto a chi ha la pelle normale o secca durante l'inverno. SPF 50 , ottima protezione anche contro gli UVA (5 stelle). Comodo il dosatore che permette di erogare la giusta quantità' di prodotto. In estate acquistero' la versione corpo da 1 litro. Ottimo prodotto che consiglio vivamente. Fantastica iniziativa e prezzo decisamente alla portata di tutti senza alcun compromesso sulla qualita'. Made in Germany,

Brilliant sun block

Vooral zinc oxide lijkt wel, beschermt heel goed met een PPD >52 (persistent pigment darkening) maar smeert op de bruine huid erg moeilijk uit. Overgestapt naar ander merk voor gebruik buitenshuis maar Altruist gebruik ik nu in de tuin en op balkon.

Feels great on my skin, leaves my face feeling moisturized. There is a single white cast after application but it fades within minutes. Does leave a light shine to the skin.

Ich habe nun mittlerweile die halbe Flasche aufgebraucht und ich bin dermaßen zufrieden, dass ich definitiv nachbestelle. Es ist wirklich nicht leicht einen anständigen Sonnenschutz ohne Parfüm und andere reizende Stoffe zu finden. Ich habe empfindliche Haut, aber ich vertrage diese chemischen Uv-Filter sehr gut. Der Auftrag ist sehr angenehm und zügig, das Fluid fühlt sich während des Auftrag und auch danach an wie eine reichhaltigere Feuchtigkeitscreme. Man hat den ganzen Tag kein furchtbares "Sonnencreme - Gefühl" - wie bei herkömmlichen Sonnencremes. Im Gegenteil, man spürt gar nichts, außer gepflegte Haut. Nach dem Auftrag erhält man einen Glanz auf der Haut, der viele Stunden anhält. Es ist kein typischer Fettfilm wie nach einer billig-Sonnencreme, sondern eher ein "dewy Glow" wie es im Englischen so schön heißt - sie wird also auch später nicht matt, aber man kann sie mit Puder mattieren. Der Geruch ist durch die Parfümfreie Formulierung sehr chemisch und scharf, was aber natürlich an den UV-Filtern liegt. Man riecht quasi, dass da Sonnenschutz drin ist - was mich nach dem "Purito-Skandal" immens beruhigt. Man riecht das zwar beim Auftrag, aber nicht mehr danach. Der Geruch ist auch nicht extrem stark, aber er ist da wenn man die Flasche öffnet. Nun zum "Brennen" in den Augen - wie ich aus anderen Rezensionen gelesen habe: Es ist klar, dass es brennen wird, wenn man sich das ins Auge schmiert, also auf die Schleimhaut. Da sind wie gesagt CHEMISCHE FILTER drin. Ich persönlich habe nur ein einziges Mal Brennen in den Augen gehabt, weil ich das Fluid aus Versehen in die Schleimhaut des rechten Auges bekommen hab. Aber das war einmal, man muss eben aufpassen. Das Brennen war auch nicht extrem schmerzvoll wie z.B. Chili und war nach 3 bis 5 Minuten vorbei. Ich trage das Fluid natürlich auch täglich auf die Augen auf, und ich arbeite es auch in die Tränensäcke ein, aber ich verspüre kein Brennen dabei. Eine Rezension sprach davon, dass Ihr /Ihm auch während des Tages die Augen brennen. Das hatte ich auch nie. Ich denke aber jede/r ist unterschiedlich, aber wer sich das Fluid in einer dicken Schicht in die Wimpern einarbeitet, der dürfte sehr wahrscheinlich brennende Augen bekommen... Aber das gilt dann für jede Sonnencreme. Ich persönlich habe null Probleme mit diesem Produkt, und ich habe wie gesagt leicht reizbare Haut und muss in all meiner Kosmetik auch viele Alkohole und Parfüm verzichten. Diese Marke scheint mir auch sehr vertrauenswürdig, ich bin absolut zufrieden! Ich hoffe, die Rezension ist hilfreich für Manche und ich konnte das Problem mit dem Brennen ein wenig aufklären. Das Einzige, was ich mir wünschen würde ist, dass man für das Geld 60ml bekommt anstatt 50ml. Das war's. Viel Erfolg bei der Sonnenschutz-Suche!
