But this one is nice quality, holds the katana very well, and will last for years. It is way better than using a standard belt. Whatever level you are at this will help with your practice.Now there are a zillion ways to tie this. Some are fancy knots and some are simple. I opted for simple and functional since I am not the best at knots. At least it allows the option to be versatile.So on to the price. 35.00 and 10 shipping. I think the 10 shipping is high and could have been shipped from California cheaper ways. As for the 35.00...well, to me this is a specialty item. It is not something many would want and has a limited market. So yeah...to me and for how it helps...I say 35 is fine.If you are cutting bottles in the back yard or practicing in the dojo. With a proper knot and wrap, it does not move or slip. It's not the cheapest option out there, but the Japanese quality is impeccable and I expect it to last for many years.
