I have been searching for a digital clock for a couple of years now. My cable company removed the digital clocks from the cable boxes and suddenly I had no way of telling time. So, I started on my search for a simple digital clock that was readable from even across the room that was not overbearing in brightness, simple to use, inexpensive and functional. Simple I thought, but not so much. Over the past two years I've purchased numerous digital clocks and none suited my needs. In fact, I just purchased two digital clocks a week before this one that was literally deemed useless. You had to be facing at eye level close up to read it. Those were $12 each. I didn't want to spend more than that for a clock. Then, I came across this clock which was significantly more than I ever wanted to spend but it appeared readable and functional and so because I was so desperate I just went for it. Boy, am I glad I did. I really wasn't interested in the charging ports, etc. But, come to find out it is very practical to have. When I want to plug in my Amazon Fire TV I don't have to look for an outlet just plug it right in the clock, same with my phone. The clock has outlets and charging ports on the top of it. The cord that comes with this clock is heavy duty, thick and super high quality. After using this clock for more than a week, I would buy it again and I will be buying another one. Easy to set time. Easy to set the alarm and turn it off and on. Readable at a distance and does not disturb sleep, etc. Nice clean numbers readable at any angle unlike the previous digital clock that I had just purchased. No complaints whatsoever with this clock, it is pretty straight forward. Sleek design. Not ideal it has a knob on the top, but overall I can deal with that. My search is over.

Like most other reviewers, we bought this alarm clock after staying at a hotel with this simplistic little beauty. EASY SETTING: So easy to set. Just push down on the nob on the top. The alarm set time will flash beginning at 6am. Then turn it until you reach the desired alarm time. After a few seconds, the alarm time stops flashing and you're good to go! SNOOZE: Snooze button is a slightly raised, long, narrow button just atop of the clock face and is impossible to confuse with the time-setting nob (no matter how groggy you are when you first wake up). When you hit the snooze button, it resets the alarm time for 9 minutes later. SOUND: The alarm itself is not overly loud or annoying, just a single chime repeated over and over (not crescendo - does not get louder or more frequent). DISPLAY / DIMNESS: Love the easy to read display, but my favorite is the fact that it is such a gentle lighted display that it doesn't keep up awake or illuminate the entire room like the red or blue lighted displays we have tried in the past. It has adjustable dim settings (I use the lowest) and you can even turn the back-light off completely (one of the dimness settings). LOOK & USABILITY: Love that is is kinda low profile, not big and bulky. It includes the USB ports to charge devices and they are strong enough to handle charging my tablet, too. The plug also has an additional outlet on the back so you don't lose any outlet place when you plug this baby in. Brilliant! That search for the perfect alarm clock? FINALLY SOLVED! I would recommend this to anyone and will probably give it as gifts to a few people I have in mind. I paid full price for this alarm clock and it was worth every penny!

This is, without a doubt, the BEST alarm clock I've ever owned. I know, it's an alarm clock...what's the big deal? The big deal is that is exactly that: an alarm clock. A simple, well-designed, well-made alarm clock without all the frivolous extras that befuddle every other alarm clock I've found. I searched for months for a basic alarm clock that makes the alarm on/off button (and not the snooze button) the main feature of the clock. Most clocks have a giant snooze button but to actually turn off the alarm, you have to find a tiny switch or button elsewhere on the clock...and usually in the midst of radio switches, daylight savings time switches, alarm/radio wake up switches, and a dozen other ridiculous things that have nothing to do with waking you up in the morning. Ugh. Then I stayed at a Marriott in Milwaukee and saw this clock. I ordered it from Amazon before I checked out. This clock is easy to set, easy to use and very well designed. There is a dimmer, there is a daylight savings time function but they're well-placed so the button to turn the alarm on/off is easy to find in the morning when the alarm is going off and you want to shut it off quickly. (one note: there is a switch on the bottom that allows you to change the default wake up time so you don't have to reset the alarm every night) The 2 USB charging ports and 2 outlets are very convenient too. Lastly, I will say that it feels substantial, well-constructed. Perhaps because it was designed for use in hotels (?), but it has a durable, solid quality that you don't get with most alarm clocks. This thing defines elegance through simplicity. Well done, CubieTime.

Lo vi en un hotel donde me hospede,y lo busque porque me encanto lo versátil que es para cargar dispositivos usb y/o salida trifasica al mismo tiempo, funciona tal cual esperaba, me gusto mucho, y llego un día antes de lo esperado y en domingo, que tal!!

Love this clock. First used this while staying in motels. Is so easy to set the alarm. Shows time in large bright numbers. I plug my lamp and tablet into it. My wall plug not easily accessible so now no need for extension cords. Cleaned up the mess of cords lying on the floor.

Bought this after seeing it at a hotel. Very handy having the plug and USB ports on top because the plug is awkward to reach from my bed so now I just plug straight into this. Well built, small footprint, relatively minimalistic style which I like. As others have said, it’s too bad you have to manually set the alarm time every time you use it. I kind of think it’s overpriced for what it is but given the good quality and nothing similar at a better price point, I would recommend/buy again.
