Thanks **Q: Would these be a good option for making infused pepper tequila?** A: They would work, but you really don't need a fermenter to infuse alcohol. I make several liqueurs and all I do is mix them up and let them sit my dark pantry for a month. I infuse tequila by stemming and washing 6 jalapenos, and 6 serranos. I puncture them 4 or 5 times with a paring knife and put them in a quart jar. Then I pour in 5th of silver tequila, and put it in the pantry. Once or twice a week I shake the jar, and it's ready to serve in a month. **Q: Are the silicone grommets bpa free?** A: Yes, silicon is made from sand.
