Pacific Pearl Fancy Whole Smoked Clams in Oil 3.75 oz (Pack of 12)

Delicious, just enough for a little snack, soft quality clams, good for the price! Will be buying again!

This was a gift to my brother who said these are the best he's had. One thing he liked was that they we not overly oily. I only gave him two cans so I have a more for his birthday etc. or just because.

Update: While I do stick with my original description of the product, I have removed 1 star. I have purchased 3 of the 12-can packs for pretty much the same cost. Now they are $9 more expensive (for what reason??), which means they cost around the same as they do in a grocery store. No longer a great deal at all, so why bother continuing on here? Such a shame.I have been eating different brands of smoked clams for 50 years, but this is the first time I ever tasted this brand. I can honestly say that these are the best smoked clams that I have ever tasted! The clams are large, tender, meaty, and full of flavor. Will definitely be reordering these many times!

I like these clams, but watch out for shell pieces. Found one in the first can opened.

I opened the can and broke out the crackers and was surprised they had very little flavor and were rubbery. I found out the hot sauce gave them some zing. I will finish this pack of 12 over time, but as for purchasing again, thumbs down. I really found them to be of poor quality, little flavor, rubbery for what you pay for them.

Tasty clams from a good quality brand...

Notice how the pictures don't happen to include this view. Also the ingredients as stated on the box (best by 08/01/24) are Smoked Baby Clams, Sunflower Oil and/or Cottonseed Oil, Salt. I wasn't really surprised to see Product of China on the package, but I had been hopeful the item description was accurate. As far as the item itself I am very happy with the taste, texture, and packaging. These are great by themselves or in my famous clam and cucumber sandwiches. I will be ordering again.
