Plug and Play
I really liked this Zoeller product. It was so easy as it was all preassembled, plug and play, no hassles!

Excellent pump and company
It took some fiddling around with and I had to reposition the DC back-up pump over the main due to the large width but it was well worth it. Works flawlessly so far. Definitely one of the top sump pump companies out there. Quality through and through. I read a few reviews stating the side pump was metal. It is not. It’s some kind of compressed hard plastic. Better IMO because of the weight savings. Side pump kicks on when it’s supposed to. The alarm sounds when it’s supposed to. Main pump works perfectly. Highly recommend this. Just be ready to reconfigure it if you have a small pit.3 years later and my review still stands. Don’t listen to these bad reviews talking about defective valves and pumps. Clearly written by someone who has no idea what they are doing. They also were adding enough water to the basin when testing. Pumps were not defective. Call a pro if you need help.

Easy to install and powerful sumppump back up
I installed them keeping the piping intact and exactly the way as advertised and both pumps work fine without any problems. I was concerned about some reviewers saying they prefer an alternate method of piping where each pump has it’s on output pipe instead of both sharing the same pipe. From my experience modifications are not necessary and they work flawlessly the way they are and can keep up with Any demanding water emergency . I have them on the stand that zoeller sells.Had them for 6 months and So far operating quiet And reliable

Two Defective Pumps!
Two defective pumps! The first pump arrived damaged AND defective. One of the three plastic feet that support the (A/C) pump was bent but not to the point of being broken. The A/C pump check valve was broken making it uninstallable. I had to make a trip to the store to replace it and redo the fittings to get it to work because it is not the same size as the factory supplied valve. While not an ideal configuration (the taller replacement valve made the backup pump set too high), after a couple of hours I was ready to install the pump. Bear in mind that in replacing the pumps a certain amount of new PVC drain lines need to be installed because every pump sits a little differently in the sump well so there is a fair amount of installation time every time you change the system. After getting it installed, I tested it. Water sprayed out from all around the base perimeter of the pump (no not just the air lock hole - as it should) I assume the pump was either not assembled correctly or something was wrong with the gasket. Either way it was defective and had to be replaced. While it did pump water out of the sump well, I did not want to keep a defective pump as it would have to run more frequently and have a shorter life at best.My next frustration was in arguing with Amazon/NYDirect (the vendor) that I needed a replacement pump to install before I could return the defective one. They insisted that I return the only pump protecting my basement from flooding before they would send a replacement! With much persistence on my part after several days they finally agreed to send a replacement first. The new pump arrived in about three days. After being burned the first time, I fully inspected AND tested this pump BEFORE installing it. The check valve arrived broken in exactly the same place on the replacement pump! While frustrating, as long as the pump didn't leak and wasn't defective I decided I could have them send a replacement check valve that I could install myself. So, I proceeded with plumbing in a test run of the pump in my sink. %#@%&**$!! It also leaked around the same seal as the first pump! It would have been an even worse leak if I had installed it because it would have had ten feet of head pressure on the pump.As I understand it, these are supposed to be %100 tested before shipping, so I'm puzzled as to how two defective pumps got out the door. I've now lost 1 1/2 days off work and much aggravation with what I thought was going to be a quality, trouble free pump.I almost didn’t go with Zoeller in the first place because they had a serious quality issue with bad switches not too long ago that caused their pumps to not come on at all. Because of their otherwise good reputation I decided to give them a try. Obviously, I will be returning these pumps and purchasing another brand!

Easy install, Outstanding product
This was my first attempt at working on a sump pump, and it couldn't have been easier. I watched a few videos on it and gave it a shot. I was lucky mine fit right in without any cutting, ensure you replace the check valve also, its cheap and added piece of mind. Its have been running for 2 months now, without issue. The pumps seem to be of high quality and built to last. I just pulled a Zoeller pump out of the hole that had been running properly since I bought the house, just wanted to replace it because of its unknown age(probably 10 years old). This is great if you want piece of mind and a great pump, you found it.

Sold to me as New - But was Broken
The product itself is actually awesome, I will lead with that. This is our second time buying this exact same make / model. The first system lasted us four years. That said, one of the sellers on here is unresponsive and does not wish to make it right. When you order this, please give yourself time to open the box, look at all of the contents and be sure it is all there and correct BEFORE you remove your old system. And do not order this in an emergency.

Buy a Zoeller! They always are work horses that last!
Zoeller Products are excellent and last long. Unfortunately the package was missing the retainer pin that holds the magnetic float in place for the back up pump control. Other than that I would have given a 5 star review. Fortunately I had a finishing nail that I had to substitute for the stainless steel pin that was missing! I have professionally installed this dual pump many times and they have worked flawlessly for years. Just go to Walmart to get the Marine deep cycle battery for another $90 and you are complete. I like the new computerized charging system. They have improved that feature!

Peace of Mind is Worth the Cost
Very pleased with the delivery (less than 24 hours after ordering), quality of the product and ease of installation. Easily fits in my 18" diameter x 24" deep sump basin. Instructions indicate check valve is provided by installer but this is not necessary as both pumps already have quiet check valves installed. Only extras I needed were a 1-1/2" flexible coupling to connect to my waste plumbing and of course the back-up battery (a 200 hour deep cycle maintenance free marine battery from Canadian Tire). Excellent charging unit with AC supply and charging indicator lights and a scrollable display showing battery voltage, number of power interruptions, alarms and secondary pump cycles, and service phone number. Easily tested the back-up pump and alarm (switch off primary pump AC at breaker panel, fill sump with water until secondary pump activates) and then test the primary pump (switch primary pump AC back on at breaker panel). A little pricey, but so worth the peace of mind!

Definitely woth the extra cost over the plastic alternatives
Came pre-assembled, as advertised, was simple to install, instructions were easy to follow. Main pump is solid and metal not plastic. Battery case, strong and durable and has proper notches for cables. Came with one compression fitting for easy of replacement, This may not be as cost effective as other battery backup sump systems, but the hassle of combining separately bought systems and making sure hey are working right is not worth the cost saving. One thing to be wary about is the battery you buy, it has to have a reserve of 200 Hours, and a deep cycle marine battery. Not 180 Hours reserve like most are rated for, the smart charging system will recognize this and warn you of this. One last note, the Tech support at Zoeller is amazing.

A nice combination, with the fussy parts of assembly already done
This combination provides the essentials of a sump pump system with a battery powered backup pump (battery not included). I found it easy to finish installation within a day; the two separate-circuit sockets had been previously installed within reach of the sump hole. Check the online installation instructions for the two cord lengths. If you want a lid on your sump the installation might be substantially more complicated. The two pumps come neatly stacked in a compact preassembled arrangement that fit with lots of extra horizontal room into my 18" diameter, 20" deep sump hole. The battery box and controller (set up for wall mount) have to be within 8 feet of the sump. This configuration has an audible alarm to report power or pump problems. There is a different model that adds a wifi connection to report conditions to anywhere.

Excellent product
Excellent product - but very expensive in Canada - was able to buy only after $1,000 subsidy from TD insurance.
