I've been purchasing from Amazon for years, but have never left a product review. Until now, that is. That's how impressed I've been with the Petpost Dog Ear Cleaner Wipes. One of my Jack Russell terriers has ears that have continually been plagued by dark, yucky crud. He also suffers from allergies and so is highly sensitive to many things. Trying to clean his ears always used to be a torture for both him and me, and I could never really finish the job well.I was first drawn to the Petpost Dog Ear Cleaner Wipes because one of the main ingredients is coconut oil. Coconut oil is a natural antifungal agent and is gentle to the skin. I knew that the aloe in the product would also be soothing to my dog’s ears. I was concerned about how well the wipes themselves would work, but decided to give them a try based upon the high customer ratings from others who clearly have dealt with this same problem.After using these on my dog’s ears for several weeks now, I must say that these little wipes are amazing! The jar contains plenty of cleaning solution, and each pad is fully saturated with it. The pads are very thin, but that’s a good thing, because it allows you to really maneuver them into all of the tiny and twisting channels of your dog’s ears. I knew from the first use that I had found a winning product. The surface gunk just started coming out so easily. Then, with repeated use, more and more continued to magically cling to these little pads. My Jack Russell’s ears are looking fantastic, and he clearly feels better too!Now ear-cleaning time has become a relaxing and peaceful routine. No more wrestling to try to squirt liquid into my terrier’s ears, only to have him run around wildly trying to shake it out. I begin by gently massaging my dog’s ears, and then slowly and gently begin with a cleaner wipe. He gets so relaxed during the process that he nearly dozes off! I’ve been using about two pads per ear during these initial sessions in these first few weeks. Every time we begin a new cleaning session, I am amazed at the improvement I am continuing to see. I had to buy these for my fearful dog because we needed to start somewhere on his ear cleaning training. He ran away from drops and any kind of hands near his ears. I used pads with homemade solution for a short while but he still ran away. My guess is that they were too big. So I gave these pads a try and within the first day of having them he let me wipe a little bit of his ears! Having a fearful dog is always a struggle because you have to introduce EVERYTHING to them and make sure they feel safe before they let you do anything. The fact that these wipes are small, smell pleasant and are not bulky helped me show my dog that ear cleaning is ok. We are two weeks in of daily cleaning and he rests his head on his paws while I gently clean his ears with these pads. I can even clean out the whole ear now! Eventually I need to get to him being comfortable with ear drops in case of any ear infections but these wipes have been SUPER helpful in getting our boy comfortable with ear cleaning and hands near his head and ears. I am definitely going to keep buying these for him and any other dogs we own.

These wipes are gentle on ears and easy to use. No strong smell so cats don't run away, lol. There is plenty of liquid in the container so the pads don't dry out. I read all labels before choosing this product. Nice price and great value.

Quick delivery. Convenient. I don’t love that is has fragrance in it but my cat doesn’t mind much.

These smell pleasant but not too strong. They are slightly textured which helps with cleaning my dog's ears when the dirt is directly on his skin. Sometimes I do still use the more traditionally offered medicinal ear solutions from the vet, but this is great for maintenance.

My cat is very old and set in his ways, So he has a hard time reaching areas he would normaly keep clean himself. He is also very temperamental about being touched or groomed in certain areas including his ears and paws, So believe me if he does not want you to clean his ears or cut his nails or anything for that matter he will not let you with out a vicious fight. So when I noticed that his ears really needed to be cleaned I knew I was in for a fight. I saw the Pet Post ear cleaning wipes on line and thought maybe it would make this endeavor a little easier. After I received them I thought alright here we go. I opened the container and found that they had a very pleasant scent to them and that they were of a good size for any cat or kitten, not to small not to big. They do come very saturated so you will need to just squeeze a little of the excess fluid out before using them. At first he was not happy, but within a couple of seconds he mellowed right out and actually seemed to enjoy it. I was so relieved and pleased not only for the ease of use but for the fact that these wipes contain aloe vera and coconut oil to moisturize and sooth his ears along with other ingredients helpful in the removal of dirt and wax build up. I did receive this product at a discounted rate in an exchange for an honest and unbiased review and I am very glad that I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to try such a great and useful product. I very much plan to purchase them again in the future when I run out, however because the jar comes with 100 presoaked wipes, it will probably be a little while before I will need to !
