Good product, but has a strong chemical smell

I was quite impressed by this makeup brush set. It gives such a nice variety of brushes and it's wonderful it comes with a case. The larger/fluffier brushes come with individual sturdy plastic covers to keep them from getting smashed and misshapen when tossed in the bag with other brushes. The bag definitely has a strong smell when you first unwrap it, but once it gets some air it is fine. The brushes are soft and I have been using them to apply mineral powder foundation, mineral and pressed eyeshadows, blush, contour, highlight,... so basically everything!It's really a nice deal for the price to get so many nice brushes and a punch for them.For improvement: I would like to see the handle include the brush type (i.e. "powder brush" "smudged brush" etc)I purchased this set at a discount to test and review.

Smelled like an aerosol can of spray paint even after washing everything. I was so excited to get a decent set of brushes. Guess that's why it's discounted 80%+. I don't wanna deal with the hassle of shipping it back.

So soft! Feels great against the skin and makes for a flawless look! I have only used 3 of the brushes but I'm sure the rest of them are just as awesome. I like that it came with a bag as well.

I received these brushes for a discounted price in order to review them. I like these brushes, they're soft and work well and I haven't seen any strands come out of them after a week of heavy use. I knocked a star off because it took a few days for a strong chemical smell to dissipate from the brushes and the pouch they arrived in. Also, as someone who isn't very familiar with the intricacies of makeup brushes, I would have really appreciated if the brushes either had their purpose printed on the handle or if there was a visual guide to show what each brush should be used for. It took some trial and error, but I think I have most of the brushes figured out. Overall, I think these brushes are well worth the listed price and I'd recommend them to friends.

I bought these after looking for a full set of make up brushes that are reasonably priced and well made. This set came with more brushes than I really need, but hopefully that will help me improve my makeup applying skills! These have none of the problems you typically find in cheap drugstore brushes. Most important to me, the bristles stay put! Nothing comes out and sticks to my product or skin; the bristles are also soft and not scratchy or pokey. They're firm for the brushes that should be firm and softer on the brushes that should have more of a gentle sweeping on the skin. I would definitely recommend these if you're looking for a nice set at a reasonable price- about equal to the price of two drugstore brushes or one professional brush. I'm using these daily and they're holding up nicely; they feel well made.The only con I found was that the make up bag they came with had a chemical smell when I first took it out of the package. This was the bag only, and it went away after sitting out for a day or so. The brushes themselves had no smell at all. I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I would only recommend a product that I truly believe is a good item!
