Upon receiving this today I immediately took it over to our small non-profit building. The entrance has an "almost" zero step entry, but it had enough lip to make it a little difficult for those using a walker, scooter or wheelchair. This fit perfectly against the 3/4" threshold and makes it a true zero step entry. The ramp is made of a solid rubber material with a good weight and seems unlikely to shift with use. In the unlikely event it does shift I think a thin line of adhesive between its front edge and the sill will beall it needs to hold it in place. Upon opening - yes, it does have a strong rubber odor. Ours is outside, so it's not an issue. If you are using it inside you'll probably want to let it air out for a couple of days. I'm very pleased with this product and a bit chagrined we didn't get it sooner!

This ramp is hefty and well-made, and exactly to specs as described. The door this abuts was originally scraping the top of the ramp a tiny bit, but within a day the flashing had adapted just enough to eliminate that. I purchased extra-strong double-sided tape to ensure that the ramp doesn't budge from the smooth laminate floor it is on. In addition to being important for wheeled mobility devices, the ramp eliminates the (outbound) trip hazard of our 1.2" door sill and provides extra "runway" for crossing the door sill by foot. It did need to off-gas, but the rubbery odor was gone in a day or two. It feels pleasant under our feet -- just a tiny bit of spring.

It is perfect for my wheelchair at my back door! Measure very carefully, if it’s too low then your front casters (wheels) still get caught. I put some double stick thick tape under to keep it from moving. I had to use a rasp to grind off a little on one side because my threshold wasn’t even all the way across.

This was easy to install and works well for our household. We have a heavy battery powerchair and a garage with wildly uneven door frames. This is the best and safest ramp we've gotten to make it easy and safe to get that chair outside! It is slip resistant but you will want to use a heavy duty double sided rubber tape to help hold it in place. It was the perfect size for the entryway we needed to install it; measure twice, order once! It has a light rubber odor that has dissipated over time;not really an issue. Worth its weight in gold in our house.

This worked perfectly for my dad’s wheelchair. It slid against the door threshold and stayed in place. It made it so much easier to get him in and out of the house! Great quality.

I went through to other brands of putty Soft threshold ramps that came rolled up and were worthless. This one comes in a long box and is rigid, yet still easy to cut to size. Don't waste your money, this is the one that will work the best and last the longest. I'm very impressed.
