What is the name of the chillies? Carolina, Birds Eye, Bahamian?

I don't know the type but they are about 3-5 inches long (7-12 cm) . They are a very dark red, almost but definitely not black, dry and almost leathery.

A good purchase

These chillies are larger than I expected from the photograph (mine are mostly 8-10 cm long). The packaging does not say what type of chillies they are, but the flavour is good and they have a nice spicy heat without being overpowering. Excellent value for the price.

If I'd known

Not as pictured. Chillies are VERY dark, (as I have bought before from retail), they arrived well packed and promptly but the inner bag is an unlabelled zip bag. No manufacturer, country of origin or expiry date, contents etc. Could be any age already. Plus side? They were the cheapest. Sorry, but foodstuffs should have the missing information.
