The Ladino Fakebook: Songs in Judeo-Spanish Melody/Lyrics/Chords

This is a great book for anyone who likes Ladino music and songs, and it makes the songs very accessible for the even the beginning guitar player/vocalist because the song versions are simplified, but still totally in the spirit of the original. the variety of songs is another great asset in this book. I was glad to find "Los Bilbilicos", "Paxaro d'Hermozura" and "A la Una", together with other classics like "Cuando El Rey Nimrod" and "Scalerica de Oro" all in the same publication.

excellent selection of Ladino songs... Nice melodies, and clearly laid out.There is one warning, that has nothing to do with the book itself: Ladino songs are generally depressing.It seems that for most Ladino singers, love was a complete flop.

Brings back the fond memories of my great-grandparents. Priceless to see the old folks sing along while they're still around.
