Do not recommend
The food gets burnt even if cooked on a very low flame. The whistle does not go just food gets burnt. Do not recommend at all.

Steel pressure cooker Develops bulge.
After four years that is in Nov 2025, this steel cooker has developed a bulge. Iam shocked, lucky this did not burst. Will I get the replacement for this steel pressure cooker. Purchased in May 2021.

Rubber Gasket not the right size
Product is good. I got it to Middle East where I am based. But the rubber gasket was a size smaller and could not be used. No chance for replacement as I got the pack here unopened trusting the Prestige brand. Now I am using this pressure cooker with an old 5 l casket that works fine on this one. Had I got this product in shop, I would be going for gasket exchange during my next visit. Better check & use once in India if you plan to fly Amazon products out. Now I have to buy a fresh 5 l gasket during my next visit.

It’s been 10 days since I am using this cooker. Closing the lid is a bit challenging, if you miss the correct alignment, it gets stuck making it almost impossible to open. CONS - The handle plastic is weak,the cost between Online and in store is very minimal.
