I absolutely Love this product! Gives volume and leaves hair soft. Love the smell also!!

Been using this a while. My hair is on the thinner side and this product helps with volume.

I have naturally wavy hair with some body, but it won't do what I want it to do and goes flat in about 10 minutes after a blow dry. This product did exactly what I wanted it to do. I can't feel it gooing up my hair, but it lifted my hair the way I wanted it, and it looks really nice -- the way it looks when I leave the salon after a cut. YAY!!

The Alterna products are top notch, especially this one. Over the years my hair has gotten thin and flat. This product helps my hair to appear a little thicker and heathier with just the right amount of volume. First, I set my hair with rollers and spray lightly with water. Then, I spray this product lightly over the set and do some errands while it soaks in. If my hair is still damp by the time I want to take the rollers out, I use the blow dryer. When the rollers come out and my hair is dry, there's volume I can work with. I will continue to buy this product.

I use a mask & heat cap before shampooing with Alterna anti-aging moisturizing shampoo. Then I spray 6 pumps into my hands (2 X 3 pumps) and spread through shoulder length hair and comb through. Then dry hair with head down and roots pulled tight. When I do all this, I get better volume than with any other product I've tried and it lasts for daysVery pleased and obviously will continue to buy, use, and recommend.

I searched to find a similar product and decided to try this. Not as good. I’ll spend the money on chasmere

I really wanted to love this product, but it completely dried out my hair. I have thick, curly hair and have used the 48-hour sustainable volume spray for many, many years. Since Alterna discontinued it, I thought I would give the Canvas mist a try. It was horrible for my hair, no matter if I left it curly or blew it out. I tried the mist several times, and each time, my hair looked terrible...so dry and unhealthy. The difference between the canvas mist and the bamboo 48-hour spray is huge. I was able to return the Canvas mist and will not be trying anything else from this line.Alterna, please, please bring back the 48-hour sustainable volume spray!!

Great product, I have fine hair but this product adds fullness and not heavy or sticky

Great product at a good price

This smells great and gives my hair a silky bounce, but nowhere near the volume of the predecessor product this replaced (Bamboo volume spray). Purchased this in desperation as the last of my discontinued bamboo spray ran out; most reviews suggest this doesn’t have the same volume and they’re all correct. Alterna please bring back the bamboo spray!
