Works exactly as advertised
Bought after seeing someone's video demonstration in these reviews (if you don't see that here, you should look), but if you want a comprehensive written review, here it is. For context, I make youtube videos where I'm on mic for hours at a time, and we do lots of laughing and shouting at times. Without the windscreen, I popped and peaked if I wasn't careful. Foam windscreens are a great, cost-effective way to improve your sound quality without breaking your bank, and this one does just that. Fits snugly over the Blue Yeti, but would probably work well on another similarly sized and shaped microphone. Having handled both a Yeti and a Snowball, I doubt it would fit a Snowball. I have a slight lisp, which makes my "p", "t", "s", "b", and "k" sounds pop slightly on the mic without the windscreen. With the windscreen, the mic doesn't pop much. Note, I said that it doesn't pop much. In order to completely rid your audio of any pops, you need to get a pop filter. Foam windscreens will NOT replace pop filters, but can supplement set ups that still get popping with a pop filter, or a set up where popping doesn't happen as frequently. And if you're still having that problem, you need to adjust your set up. Sit further from your mic, turn down your gain, make adjustments in editing. The product never claimed to solve every possible problem, and it doesn't, but it does what it says it will do. Long story short, if you want to cut down on popping and peaking in your recording, and budget is your concern, buy this windscreen. If you can afford it, buy a pop filter as well.

it may rip like mine did
Don't force it on, it may rip like mine did. I tried twisting then I tried lightly tapping. I ended up having to lightly hold from 2 sides and pull down. Unfortunately my thumb went right through it. (Slowely twisting is probably the best way to put it on) It still works great cancelling out my laptop fan noise. I currently have it attached to this ARM "Etubby [Heavy Duty] Upgraded Professional Adjustable Desktop Microphone Suspension Boom" (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FJABIEM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7) and this SHOCK MOUNT "Blue Radius II Microphone Shock Mount for Yeti" (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TTQLA50/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9?th=1) as well as a "Dragonpad USA Pop filter" (https://www.amazon.com/Dragonpad-USA-filter-Studio-Microphone/dp/B008AOH1O6/ref=sr_1_3?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1476888904&sr=1-3&keywords=pop%2Bscreen%2Bfilter&th=1) and it all works like a dream. The sound quality is amazing and I have had many people comment about how they use to be able to hear my laptop or room fan while gaming, but now that is a thing of the past. I can even stop using push-to-talk and set a sound threshold because the background noise is so minimal (Huge Win). And better yet you can't hear breathing of keyboard clicks. (If you properly adjust the threshold) I use this mostly for recording vocals in Ableton and for that it does a great job of removing all that isn't vocal noise. I highly recommend it as it is inexpensive and serves its purpose well. Love the product. - Would buy again when this one wears out. (if it ever does)

Attractive and sturdy
First and foremost I want to say that the customer service from this company “VocalBeat” is pretty awesome the email they sent me made me feel like a valued customer of this product.. Sound quality: To be fair it doesn’t change the sound quality all that much it just drowns out those annoying sounds that the mic picks up but all together doesn’t harm the quality Value: I can see that there definitely are cheaper options, however this thing is very well made and fit snug onto my mic making it quick and easy, it’s made of a very strong foam that I don’t think you would get from those cheaper options Noise cancellation: This one for me is a bit lack I know it won’t drown it all out, I stream and have a noisy little fan in my pc that kinda makes it hard to hear but it takes some of that away just not all of it so don’t expect it to completely drown out background noise Pros: It’s made with a heavier foam making it quite durable while having a tight fit to make it stay and it makes your mic look way better because it just gives this certain attractiveness to it, Cons: not very many to be frank but a couple things I could nitpick is that fact that there were dents in it I couldn’t very well get out, that and it’s not so good for canceling louder noises like that pesky pc fan.. Final thoughts: Well worth the money to be completely honest it’s just made well and it’s well priced, that and the customer service is pretty great

Good fit, but not the best pop filter solution
A great fit and design and it works pretty well. However, I did notice that some plosive sounds still got past the foam layer. So I wouldn't say it's the ideal pop filter for the microphone.

Pros and cons...
My son loves to play online games with voice. I'm also a youtuber who needs to record my voice in my vid. The problem with cheap mics is that there are no windscreen or pop filter available for them. So, I finally bought a Blue Yeti mic, but did not want to or feel the need to add a pop filter for what I do(pop filter takes up too much extra desk space), so I bought this windscreen, which does a great job at reducing the pop tremendously and especially for the price, it's a great add on, in-order to get a much better recording. I'm very finicky and like to compare products and I think this is one of the best windscreen available. Yes, a pop filter is better, but cost more and takes up too much extra room. Pros: - Cost effective. - Less desk hogging space, compared to a pop filter. - Good quality material. - Easy to install (it is made of foam, just becareful while installing, so not to rip it, if you do, it's your own fault, not the product) - Does help keep the pop down quite a bit. - Perfect fit for the Blue Yeti mic. - I've tried several different windscreen, this is one of the best. Cons: - Non that I can think of so far. Conclusion: - Great product at a great price. Extra Note: - See attached pics of the VocalBeat windscreen attached to the Blue Yeti perfectly.

Does the job and works great!
5 stars for this pop filter! The quality of the foam is excellent and it fits snugly and easily on my blue yeti microphone. I do some FPS gaming, streaming and recording and the sound difference between having this filter and not is as clear as day. It helps to get rid of unwanted background noise and creates higher quality sound from your voice. My only downside would be that the box it was in when it came was too small but once you take it out and give it a few minutes it will retake it’s shape and be exactly what you’re looking for. For the price, quality and outcome in your recording you won’t be disappointed!! Definitely scoop this up if you’re looking to better your sound recording quality. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It's a nice thick foam
It's a nice thick foam, wind shield that I'm using for my Yeti, and it helped out a lot. Slides on like a glove and for those that put their mics upside down using the yeti, you're in the clear. Why? It will not fall off or anything. Nice snug tight fit. What it helped out more for me was it blocking out alot of background noises from my gaming rig. Mic quality is pretty much perfect, and helps with your hard letters Like the letter Ps. Less popping. One thing I'm alil upset about is it seems that the person delivering it was kind of careless with the package because I have a dent on the tip of the windshield foam. It's how it showed up on me, but won't take a star away because it's more of the deliveries fault It could have been better packaging too. Won't take a star off because of bad packaging or people not being careful with what they deliver. Ill eventually post sum pics when I have the chance. Hope everyone found this review to be helpful.

Great cover!
Used it for my blue yeti mic and it’s perfect. Everything I was looking for, it did come with a little dent but it slowly becomes puffy again after you put it on the mic. I would say it should be just a little cheaper though..😂

Good quality filter, fits perfectly, overpriced?
Good filter, really gets rid of the popping sounds and sharp S and T sounds without ruining quality, however I feel as though this is just more expensive than the other options on here but doesn’t actually have any reason to be more expensive.
