Hello, i accidentally ordered the wrong size cup. can i return the cup and order the smaller size or should i contact the seller about it?
What do you do when the cup goes up too high and is hard to take out? Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I’ve had to lay down to remove it
How do you wash the little holes near the rim?

Just perfect!
Ok so this was not the first menstrual cup I had tried. I had tried a Luna or something a few years ago but it was so uncomfortable it ended up in the bin 😭 Having already wasted one, for my next purchase I was very careful to look for the very best soft option I could afford, where previous reviewers had specified comfort, and Saalt was it. I bought the soft version double pack with two sizes so I could be sure one would fit. I just want to say I made the BEST decision. Putting it in first time wasn’t too hard, some people use lube but I was ok without. You have to fold it to insert it. It didn’t unfold or pop out to cup shape immediately and I did have an uncomfortable minute or two trying to sort this out but in the end I gave up and it just sorted itself out when I stood up. Slept a good nights sleep, got up, checked emails did a bunch of other stuff and only when my 12 hour timer wen5 off remembered I had it in. That’s how comfy and safe it was. So much better than a tampon. When it comes to emptying it, you need to be careful. I’m heavy and there was a lot...I wouldn’t do it in a bathroom at work let’s just say, it can get a bit messy. But the great thing is, you wouldn’t need to. If you put it in the morning, it’ll take you through 5he day. 5 mins after you get home, empty, rinse reinsert and you’re good to the next morning. I’m so glad I found this! It MUST be healthier and more hygienic than sanitary towels or tampons and it’s more sustainable too. I have some eco lilley reusable pads, bought as a back up, but I suspect I’ll only use them in emergencies now. One thing I did want to add, I usually have a lot of period pain, which tampons made all the worse...the soft Saalt cup not only didn’t cause pain, but I think it’s eased it a bit. People also complain about cups pressing on the bladder, making you feel like you need to wee; this didn’t at all. Just so comfy! I wish these had been out when I was 12! Get the two pack with different sizes. It’s likely both will fit but one might be more comfy than the other. But then you’ll be sure of a good fit and an acceptable back up. I’m certainly pleased I got the soft duo. Saalt is also a great company to support as they’re giving these to girls in developing countries, which helps them enormously!

Best cups in the market
Seriously a life changer! I have become a salad soft cup activist and I keep buying them for friends to make them use them! It pops right open, it doesn’t push your bladder, it doesn’t annoy you it hurts like other cups. Tip just add a bit of lub upon insertion and BOOM. Am using the small one for the light days and the big one for heavy days and I haven’t had a child. Your blood doesn’t smell and my cramps got less painful- although there is no evidence that this is because of the cup but HEY I believe it! It has completely changed my relationship with my period and my relationship with my body during these days that I used to feel disgusting and smelly. I love this product they should be offering them to every teenage girl when they have their first periods! Also really good for the environment as it lasts for ages. I am using mine for over 2 years and it’s still like new! I could go on forever. Saalt team THANK YOU!!!!!

Definite learning curve
It definitely took me a long while and many youtube video to figure out how to use this properly. But I am now on my 2nd cycle with the cup and absolutely LOVING IT. I have a high cervix, never given birth and both cups fit me well and I use them on different flow days. I also feel like my cramps are not as bad with the cup than with a tampon. The convenience of just putting this in and not having to think about it is also AMAZING. It definitely takes a couple of times putting it in and taking it out before getting the hang of it, so the lockdown is the perfect time to try it bc I was mostly home and could take my time in the loo.

Quite difficult to unfold
Its my first time using menstrual cup. It’s really comfortable , I feel nothing when it’s inside.But I tried really hard to unfold it inside my body.Maybe the soft one is not suitable for me

Horrific experience that ended at A&E
So I will preface this by saying there were certain things buying/using this product I did wrong BUT there are certain aspects where a clear warning needs to be made.My first and last use of the cup was to use the small cup. I have not had children and was a first time user so thought the small cup was a good place to start from the guidance on these promotional pictures. This is where I made my mistake and I didn't check if I had a low or high cervix. I cannot emphasise enough to check this or you may end up at A&E like me.I had watched various videos and the cup went in first time with a seal straight away. For 6 hours I LOVED it, no leakage, no string hanging down from the tampon, doing the right thing for the environment etc.6 hours later I went to take it out and my nightmare began. Long story short I have a high cervix, the cup went right up so high I couldn't reach the base of the cup with my finger and thumb, let alone get my finger to the top of the cup and pull it down. The sucker was so high up I couldn't even grip the stem with my finger and thumb to try to break the seal.I TRIED EVERYTHING, relaxing, bearing down, various positions, staying upright to let gravity do its thing. I knew it was so high up I was not getting it out on my own.My second mistake was putting this in at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Wanted to minimise the risk of going over 12 hours with it in me. I spent 10 hours at A&E on a Friday night. Deeply unpleasant is an understatement. Eventually ended up getting it yanked out. I am extremely sore, tired, embarrassed and grumpy. I cannot stress how unpleasant this experience has been. The Doctor and Nurse said while having the extraction that there was no way I could have got the cup out myself as it was so high.What I would highlight is that on various videos on removal etc particularly talking about "put a cup in it", they say the cup can't go anywhere, there is nowhere for it to get lost. AT NO POINT DO THEY MENTION THAT THE CERVIX CAN BE SO HIGH THERE IS A RISK YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REACH IT. If they had, and they stressed this I would have either never purchased the product or at the very least ensured I used the correct size.I suspect if I used the right size I would love this, as it is I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use a menstrual cup. A warning about the risks of using the wrong size should be included on the blurb with clear guidance that if you use the wrong size there is a risk you will not be able to get it out without medical intervention.

Best international shipping I've ever tried. Worth every penny!
1. Sanitize the cup before first use and before or after each period. 2. During your period, empty, rinse, and reinsert the cup at least every 12 hours. 3. Clean the cup with Saalt Wash or another mild, pH-balanced, fragrance-free, oil-free, and rinses clean with no residue wash. 4. Store the cup in a reusable storage pouch and a 100% recyclable paper display tube.
Safety Warning
Menstrual cups will not prevent pregnancy or protect you from sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and must be removed before intercourse. Menstrual cups are not designed to be used for post-natal bleeding. Never use Saalt Cup for more than 12 hours at a time without washing properly. Never wash your Saalt Cup with anything that may irritate your vagina if not thoroughly washed off the cup before reinserting. Avoid harsh cleansers like vinegar or bleach and strongly scented or fragranced cleansers that may cause the silicone to deteriorate. Avoid soaking Saalt Cup in anything other than water. Silicone is a porous material and can absorb oils or cleansers if exposed for longer periods of time; these substances may irritate your vagina or cause the silicone to deteriorate.

One simple method for cleaning the air holes is to fill the cup with water, place your hand over the cup, flip and squeeze to pass water through the air holes. You will probably want to do this carefully over a sink or the toilet since the water can shoot quite far if you squeeze hard! However, if anything has been left to dry in the air holes and boiling your cup did not soften it enough to be easily cleared with our water cleansing method, we do have another handy trick! Fold your cup along each air hole to gently stretch it out, and wipe with a piece of toilet paper. Do this for all four air holes. You'll notice that our air holes are at an angle, so you'll need to flip your cup inside out and clean the other side, as well. And voilà! Clean air holes!"}}]}]}
