This has become my "daily list" pad.
I began ordering these pads a few years ago when I realized they fit exactly, perfectly, into a rectangle on my desk near my computer. I'm a journalist and a life-long daily list maker.I like the weight and opacity of this paper. My next-day's list on the next page doesn't bleed through my daily list. And whatever pen I'm using, this paper picks up a nice dark line easily. No, there is no date or list of check boxes on this pad, just lines. I actually don't want a daily pad with all that extra "helpful" stuff because some days I need to write bigger, some days smaller; some days I draw circles around important items, some days I like to check things. This white paper with simple lines is perfect for that.Highly recommended.

Rhodia quality, great for fountain pens
If you use fountain pens, you need this paper. Excellent quality. No bleed through or feathering issues. Strokes appear sharp and well defined. This is also good with particularly wet writing gel pens. But really, this is fountain pen paper from the jump and it shows.

good pad
Nice little notepad, uses Rhodia's high quality paper. Wish they had the lined paper in a top spiral bound notebook at this size, but the tear off pad will do. The wrap around cover can be torn off the front and back to leave just the binding, paper, and cardboard back if you wish.

Wonderful to write on
Great little pads with high quality paper, good for ballpoint and pencil. For fountain pen I have a slight preference for Claire Fontaine paper (which owns Rhodia). That said, Rhodia graph paper is really wonderful to write on.

Great paper, convenient notepad.
This paper is what it is. If you're a fountain pen user, you're probably familiar with it. It's likely the same paper that's in most other Rhodia notebooks. Holds ink pretty well, shades nicely, etc.The way the cover of this notepad folds back is really convenient. It's pre-creased in certain areas so that it folds back neatly. There's not much more to say - just a great notepad.

Overpriced Hipster Notepad
These are one of the hot items you see on a lot of EDC sites. The product itself does the job and seems somewhat durable. It's really not that much better than any notepad you could pickup at a stationery store for cheaper, however.Yes, the pages are thicker, so if you write with a fountain pen, maybe a pad such as this is for you.Personally, I just purchased it because it looked nice for a leather organizer I made for my Etsy store. But if I was going to look for a notepad for every day use, I'd probably go with something more affordable.

Nice Notebook, But Could Be Better
Overall the notebook is pretty nice, with one big caveat. The paper is not that thick, but is smooth and doesn't absorb ink, which results in a pleasant fountain pen writing experience, almost no feathering, and no ink bleeding through to the other side. The cardboard backing is stiff enough to write on for a small notebook. The micro-perforations make removing pages easy. The size is just under 4" x 6" overall, and the writing area (below the perforations) is just under 4" x 5".The main gripe I have with this notebook is the staple binding rather than spiral binding. It basically means that you can't write on the back of each page. If you fold a page over, you are left with just under 3.5" on the back of that page that is flat, and that you could write on. Also, if trying to write on the next page, you either have to make creases in the previous pages to get them to stay folded back, or you have to constantly hold them back, which can get annoying when trying to write without a desk. Also, if you are trying to write on a page halfway through the notebook, this would get very cumbersome/impossible. I knew this would be a problem when I bought it, but I couldn't find a 4x6 notebook that fit my needs, so I settled for this one. I think, when the pages run out on this one, I will look for a different notebook next time.Ultimately, if you want a notebook to take single-sided, individual page notes that you will tear out as you write them, this would be a great notebook, but if you want to fill a notebook with notes that you will keep together, I would definitely not buy this notebook.
