This is a very nice coat rack. Easy to install - even comes with a template. Holds a closet full of jackets.

Put this up in some dead space behind the front door. Looks great. They are pretty straight forward. They come with metal brackets with the mount holes in the back so they will be very sturdy. Also come with measuring tapes with holes punched out (16 inches on center) to use as templates with a level. A few things I observed: - The wood is very soft so you have to be gentle. - Before installation, I put painters tape along their back edges to protect the walls (see the picture). Put it on so once mounted they will not be seen. - Use a screw driver to tighten all of the screws in the back holding the hooks, many were loose for me. - It comes with decent self-tapping wall screws but the mount holes are 16 inches on center so if you can screw into studs, that would be best. - I bought both the large and small version. The smaller version's metal mounting brackets holes are actually smaller than the larger version for some reason. I was using cabinet screws going into the studs which have very big screw heads. They fit in the larger rack but not in the smaller so I had to drill out the holes a little. Most people will not have this problem since the included screws would fit in either but thought I would mention it. But overall, they are great looking set.

Overall, great. Sort of a small pain to install, make sure the included ruler is perfectly straight. Look nice though, sturdy, and better than a lot of others I purchased!

This is such a nice addition to our renovated front closet. It has the cool whitewashed look with the grain visible, and the solid black iron hooks are a terrific contrast. It mounted easily with three drywall plugs (not the cheap ones that it came with) and it is solidly mounted on the wall. I got the 10-hook version for coats and jackets, and the 5-hook version for the kids' backpacks. A word of caution: it comes with a folding tape measure (nice) with the spacings for the wall hole placements pre-marked (extra nice!). But after comparing the tape holes with the placements of the hangers on the rear of the rack, they were off substantially (boo!). Don't blindly follow the included tape measure! Glad I didn't, because it never would have mounted on the drywall if I had done so. Instead, I marked the tape with the actual hole spacings, then used masking tape to mount the tape measure on the wall on a level line. I just drilled through the tape measure, and Bob was my uncle. Perfect fit! That said, it's otherwise a wonderful product and I highly recommend it.

Looks great, works well. Sturdy. Good quality, doesn't feel or look cheap.
