Love Micro Center/Inland Products!
I'm a big fan of Micro Center and their Inland brand, I have many things from them in various categories of tech. I have multiple Inland external SSDs and they've all been great so when I needed an SSD for a project restoring and tinkering with an old 2008 Aluminum MacBook, my first choice was Inland. I use other drive brands too such as Samsung, WD, and Crucial, but for value Inland is usually a solid option for price, capacity and performance, and I've been happy with all my externals lasting so I think reliability is probably solid too. This drive is in an older Mac, so it's not getting slammed too hard with data, but it's definitely nice and fast benching about what a SATA III SSD should, and it doesn't get very hot either. The machine boots quickly and every OS has been nice and snappy in comparison to the very slow 5400RPM SATA II hard drive previously installed. Overall a great budget option for storage drives, an extra drive for games, a scratch disk for editing, or for refreshing/tinkering with spare machines, will definitely be buying more in various capacities as needed.

Great for storing YouTube Videos or pictures
The INLAND Professional 512GB SSD has been a fantastic addition to my workflow, especially for handling YouTube content creation and managing large photo libraries. Its performance and reliability have exceeded my expectations. The speed of this SSD is impressive, offering swift data transfer rates and significantly reducing loading times. When editing and rendering videos for YouTube, the SSD's read and write speeds have noticeably improved the overall workflow, allowing for smoother editing processes and quicker file transfers. Additionally, for storing and accessing a vast collection of photos, this SSD has proven to be a reliable solution. It provides ample storage space while maintaining fast access to files, enabling me to organize and access my photo library efficiently. I appreciate the build quality of the INLAND Professional SSD. It feels robust and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity and ability to withstand regular use.

Great for personal PC's not used all day.
I have used these drives many times as well as the larger capacity drives from Inland. They work well on personal computers that are not used all day and all week like a business PC is. Great for lightly used PC's. I recommend something more durable for PC's that are high use PC's like Samsung. I'm told western digital ssd's are pretty durable as well

Reliable, Fast, Great Value for vintage MacBook Pro laptops
I have used these SSDs numerous times when refurbishing Apple MacBooks in the A1278, A1286 and A1297 series (2009-2012 roughly) and have never had any issues. They format quickly and meet the stated speed specs - normally around 525-540 MB/Sec read and 450-500 MB/Sec write. They are a great value - but check the single unit price vs the multi-pack as the single unit is sometimes less expensive.

Great fast product.
My Wife and I had received some old Dell all in one computers, I ordered these so that I could for one speed up the computers , but also down load Linux on them so they would be a fresh computer, perfect upgrade and fit to SSD, so much faster, boot speed is great and installation was fast and easy.
