The spool arrived two days after order, well boxed with the 20 rj45 connectors.I purchased this for the future-proof wiring of my new home. Some say I'll never need this kind of bandwidth, but in 1999 my last home was wired with Cat 5 and I was pushing that bandwidth limit in the last few years. I just wanted to put quality shielded cable in my home for whatever I may need in the future... It was worth the price to only do this once.The previous review said the wire was too thick. That's what you are paying for. It's solid core wire with shields around each pair and an additional shield around all of them before the outside cover. It's about 5/8" thick cable.Color appears more white than grey for exterior of cable.I'll follow up with additional information once I begin using the product late Spring 2015.

wire is too thick for cat 7 it would not be able to cramp on cat7 connection as patch cable. You would have to terminate in female connector with individual wire. i wind up returning it cost me 50 shipping cost. seller does not proved pre paid RS label. They keep on telling me wires will fit in cat 7 connector. i order 3 different cat 7 connector none of it works.

Great quality cable. Much thicker than CAT6, a bit more difficult to work with, but it's expected :)
