It's a brilliant toy, it introduces kids to automata. Teaches about cams and levers in a really fun way and allows them to be creative and make their own cardboard figures

Fun Kit, But Paper Instructions Tear Easily
The kit is really fun and my kids enjoyed building the machines. The instructions are pretty clear, but the paper pages tear easily, which was a bit frustrating. Still, it’s a great way to get kids interested in how machines work. Would recommend with a little care.

Massively overpriced!
Bought this for 9yr old grandson. He loves Lego and crafting so seemed an ideal gift. I didn’t notice the sticky label on the box with the price until too late, he opened up the birthday present and got stuck in, loved it but I was shocked at how little is included in box, and then saw the price label on the back of the box - £14.99. I paid £27.95!!! Almost double what it had been retailing at. He soon built the gear botz, though had to rebuild each one with the same bits. Not long lasting because of this. It seems it is old, discontinued stock, so no longer available elsewhere, but to have paid double the price makes me feel sick! I couldn’t take it back off grandson so can’t request a refund. I must research products more thoroughly next time!

Great value and very educational!
This set comes with lego components to build various engines which make the cardboard characters move. It makes 8 different creatures which you press out from cardboard. It is great fun even for adults like me. What I didn't like was the way the instruction book is attached to the box by sticky tape. This leaves a sticky residue. The paper figures are a bit fiddly but overall great fun!

It took about half a month for the product to arrive. The box was crushed and the book supplement was held in place with tape.（Different from original specifications.） I ordered a new one, but the tape that fixed was old, so it may have deteriorated over time or it may be a used item. The paper products inside showed no signs of use. My son liked it so I won't be returning it.
