Review: Love this book! - Im new to journalling and this really makes a great start to my day with my morning coffee. Some really lovely daily prompts to make you think and always brings a smile and warms my heart thinking of all the good. Love the quotes and affirmations. Easy to add into morning routine as it only takes 5mins ish minutes (more when I really have to think or reminisce of memories made). A beautiful book and bought for friends for xmas now too. Review: Awesome! - Very good one, even if you are new to journal writing/reflection. Makes an awesome thoughtful gift too! The first of these that I bought had blank lined pages at the end of the journal which was a brilliant option for free writing. These pages are not there anymore in the ones I bought for Christmas gifts :-( It would be awesome if those pages can be brought in again please.

Nice gift
Bought for my bro's girlfriend who suffers with anxiety, and she liked it. I personally like that it prompts you to think about something different most days, so isn't repetitive like some gratitude journals can be.

good to use if you remember to complete
I got into a great routine completing this and it did positively affect my day...however once my routine changed I found it a chore to complete.

Lasts 3-4 months, gets a bit repetative
This is my third gratitude journal, it's a great practice to take a moment to appreciate life and all the good things in it as our minds can often overlook these, especially at stressful times. It looked like the prompts in this one would be a nice change and a bit of fun but they repeat quite often, especially "a breakdown that lead to a breakthrough". It's not fun to be reminded of breakdowns every couple of weeks or so and, even if there were breakthroughs, how many breakdowns is the average person having? I've seen negative reviews raising the question "a privilege I have now that I've previously taken for granted" but when thinking about hot and cold running water, a place to call home, pets, friends, family and even little things like favourite foods, phone calls, the ability to read and write and all sorts - we typically take a lot for granted. However, this book manages to be both a bit long and a bit short, in the way that it becomes a bit tedious yet it only lasts three and a half months. If I'd realised the length, which isn't clear, I wouldn't have bought this one. Others make it clear how long they'll last so that seemed a bit unfair. At the same time, I'm glad the repetitiveness is over and feel less constrained with the typical open ended question of three things a day that bring gratitude.
