Very good cheese and will buy again

If you aren't a fanatic of Blue Cheese, ridiculed by your family for eating blue cheese by itself or putting it on burgers and salads all the time, then this might not be for you. However, if you have grand ideas about Blue Cheese, listen up. Roquefort is one of the strongest blue cheeses in the world, in fact, many regard it as THE strongest. It's imported from France because if it isn't from France it isn't real Roquefort. Every other time I've gotten Roquefort from other importers and sellers, there's always this thick, viscous goop that causes me to have to slice off portions of the cheese in order for it to be edible - which you can do, of course, but it isn't why I buy 3 pounds of cheese. This half wheel of Roquefort came in absolutely pristine condition and, even though the ice packs were completely melted by the time I got it, was still in great condition and quite cool as well. It's soft and crumbly yet firm to cut, making it easy to use in recipes or eat paired with a nice glass of port, which I highly recommend, since it compliments the flavors pristinely. I know I sound like I'm trying to sell this myself, but frankly I have been so disheartened with the condition of other sellers and I am so pleased with this one. I've never heard great praises of Societe Bee but I'm a believer. Seriously, do yourself a favor and eat a piece of this with some port.

This is my favorite brand of Roquefort cheese — Perfect flavor and buttery texture. Made from raw ewes milk and cave aged, as required by law. The cheese was evenly and densely veined with colorful penicillium mold. Not overly salty, with better balanced flavor than another brand I tried. Price was reasonable too, and cheese arrived in perfect condition. My only regret is I probably should have ordered a whole wheel instead of a half.

Oh my Bob! I will be back for more. Packed with enough cold packs to ensure the freshness. If you love a good cheese, treat yourself today. I don’t think you will be disappointed

We buy this often enough to never run out as we have salad which is more like charcuterie daily. Being in a small town in Montana, we haven’t access to good cheese or salami. We count on Amazon for both. Cow’s milk cheese doesn’t agree with me so not only is this delicious but also easy for me to digest.

i love roquefort cheese but this is not a good one. Not much flavor, hard ,not soft, and has a salty taste

Fine product

I’d give it 5 stars but it came cold, not frozen which is my only complaint but the flavor and texture is extremely delicious. Very creamy and smooth yet easily able to crumble into anything you want and the flavor is perfectly stinky (in a great way without being overpowering) so I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m gonna definitely order again once I finish this one but I hope next time that it either arrives frozen or at least extremely cold.
