Can I freeze this before use?

I would assume you can but it is cold from the outset

My son has pushed this away into a drawer when not in use. It now has big mould marks on it. What are the washing instructions for this product?

I would suggest using a dishcloth wrung out thoroughly in hot water with disinfectant. Wipe over thoroughly and leave to dry naturally - fully opened out. Repeat if necessary but always ensure it's cleaned this way before storing away.

Can i use this for my 8month old under her sheets at night?

This is a cool mat, not electric in anyway. It stays cool for a hrs or so and i quite like it. it doesn't stay cool all night. However for a small baby I would not recommend it as they hold their temperature differently to a adult. You could possible try it in the daytime so you can keep a eye on the baby but would only think for very short periods.

How long does it take for the product to no longer be cool?

I used this overnight last summer when it was very hot and it was fantastic. It was still quite cool by morning. Not as cold as when I went to sleep but not warm. I used it all summer and I highly recommend this product.
