Van GoghWatercolor Paint, 10ml Tube, Naples Yellow Red 224

I love this palette, even though it could be a tad bit sturdier. It is small enough to take with me, yet has sufficient half pans, which come with the palette, so that I not only have the basic watercolors, but can fit in a number of convenience colors. I love the shape. It is aesthetically pleasing and enhances my painting experience.

I buy watercolor paints in tubes (the Van Gogh brand was recommended as a good student-grade paint that performs well by an artist I follow on YouTube, Paul Clark, I think.) and I saw this palette months before I bought it. I put it on a list and it sat there for a while before I could buy watercolor supplies, but I am so glad I bought this palette. It's plastic, so there's no chance of rust. The hinge holds a paintbrush for travel or easy storage, the half pans hold a good amount of paint, it stays securely closed and isn't hard to open, it's easy to wet my paints, you can put tubed paint (more cost-effective) or your own mixes/blends in the wells and let the paint dry there to be reactivated when you wet the top... the little sponge is good quality too, like I was expecting something flimsy but no, that's a dense little sponge. I made a little swatch card, covered it in plastic (like from a cut-up sheet protector) and taped it to the inside of the lid. It's perfect. I love this palette. It was worth the wait.

Good price and listed as exceptionally lightfast in a color group which frequently is not.

Would’ve been better if it came with the half pans. I bought some but they don’t fit, so have to do some research to find pans that will fit the case before I can use it.

I loved it!! perfect to put my watercolors in a tube to take anywhere .. very practical. I just had to put some watercolor in the tube and let it dry for several days and that's it.Take into account that this is only the empty watercolors case ... and because of the shape it has, it only serves to place the watercolors that comes in a tube

First when I opened the package my thought was : it's so small I didn't expect, as there were no any size mentioned. But Indeed it's very cute and portable , has a folded brush number 6 and a removable palette. Recommend this product.

Great color you can only find in this brand. I’m a full time professional. This green is very intense. You don’t use it alone. You use in conjunction with other greens. Use with sap green or other such green to brighten the color. Never alone. I recommend

Love this paint quality and color. Van gogh paint is my favorite even over Daniele Smith bc it's great quality at an affordable price.

Bought this as a transparent alternative to Winsor and Newton light red - always a great colour for including in landscapes. The colour is a good match and it is transparent but it’s so intense that diluting it sufficiently is a challenge. I plan to try Sennelier’s version of this colour next, which Amazon also sells.

Considering this is supposed to be student grade watercolour paint it's actually really good. Only ordered as i'd run out of Daniel Smith yellow ochre and needed some ASAP so I wasn't expecting much but it's very pigmented and rewets easily when allowed to dry in a pan. Will definitely be trying some more colours from this brand.

Needed a Naples Yellow for a beach watercolour scene. The tube of paint has not disappointed, excellent watercolour at a reasonable price.

I am more than impressed. I’ve ordered few different brands to try out the same colour and Van Gogh just beat them all. It’s making clean mixes and does not muddy the paint from fillers and many pigments mixed in one. I am blown away. Will buy it again!! Is the most beautiful Naples Yellow!!!

This is a beautiful colour, highly pigmented and of lovely texture. A little goes a long way, as with all van gogh paints I've used so far.
