sex then sex then sex... then love??
i dare write this but in this one, the graphic sex overpowered the plot... to the point that by the book's conclusion, I could not buy that the main characters fell in love... lust YES... not love. that said, i respect and like the author and appreciate her unabashed style of writing intimate scenes and prefer when these are wrapped into her intricate crime stories. for this selection, i simply wanted more plot so that i could believe the outcome

Just not for me
This book was not or me. I guess it was the writing style that turned me off. There was not enough dialogue; instead of the author describing all feelings and emotions, I would have preferred her showing me. The storyline was good. I guess I just couldn't relate to Sarah, nor Chandler. Ms. Black is a talented author, in which I have enjoyed other books she has written.

Emotionally troubled characters find each other
This book features two emotionally stunted characters looking to find meaning outside of their usual casual (and abundant) sexual encounters. I found the plot somewhat unbelievable in the way they kept just running into each other until they could no longer avoid a relationship, but it did keep my interest. In my opinion, Ronica's writing is a cut above most of the gay authors I've read, and I found her book to have an entertaining and erotic storyline.

Great Second Book
Unlike so many authors who falter after a great first book, Black has not faltered here.Black has ably written two characters who bring a lot of baggage in the door with them. The question is whether each of them will be able to deal with their problems without destroying either themselves or their budding relationship. The characters are well written and Black spends enough time with each of them to make them sympathetic and likable. While there no particular hint that the two may be seen again in future books, they are the kind of characters that any reader would be glad to see again and again.

Coming to terms with real life....
is what Chan Brogan finds difficult. Yes, she's had some tragedy in her life. She never lets anybody get close. She rides her bike to relieve stress and her best pal is her brother.During one of these stress relieving moments her grandmother can't stand, Chan and her brother are speeding out of control and get pulled over by Officer Monroe (Sarah). Chan is obnoxious and belligerent to Monroe, but they both seem to like what they see.Monroe and Brogan both have lit a fire in each other and have on again and off again moments.Black makes life good.Couldn't put it down.

Steamy
This is the 1st book that I have read by Ronica Black. The two main characters are so similar in some of thier actions I found myself having to look back to see which one was speaking. However, I did enjoy the characters and the development. If there were a sequel to this I would read it just to see where the characters have gone. This is a good summer time (or wish it were summer) book.

Great story line
I really enjoyed this story. The characters were so real and full of emotion which kept me reading. I really emphasized with the characters struggles and found the book difficult to put down. Add in the hot sex scenes and it was altogether a good read.

Seasonal classic or another Christmas rip-off? You decide
The Christmas episode is pretty good. It's just that compared to the other PPG dvds, this seems to be a seasonal rip-off. Even the "Meet the Beat-Alls" dvd had other episodes on it.Like I said, the Christmas story is good, it has a good storyline and is well thought out. This could well be the best Princess adventure of the Powerpuff Girls. There is a good visual joke where the makers of the cartoon are on Santa's permanantly bad list. Even Mojo Jojo has a brief cameo. The one thing you have to ask yourselves before you buy is "is one 45 minute episode worth paying for". There is a Dexter's Lab Christmas story in the bonus section, but I bought this dvd for the PPG not Dexter. There are also 2 songs here, the "We Three Girls" song is good, but again I'd prefer more adventures. To sum it up, if you are willing to pay for one (admittedly good) adventure, great, buy the dvd. If not, save your money and tape it when it's shown on Cartoon Network.
