Super Sill WindowSill Shelf (2002)

Perfect for what I was looking for - a shelf to hold Christmas candles on for windows with limited or no window sill. I have 30-year old Marvin windows that have a small gap between the sill and window. The shelf has a small vertical edge that fits in the gap between the sill and window and is supported by the adjustable legs underneath. Unless your windows have a gap of ~3/16", this shelf won't work because the vertical edge of the shelf has to fit between the window and the sill. This shelf works exactly as promised for my windows. I don't necessarily need it as big as it is for my purpose, but this is the only solution I have found that does not use suction cups.

window molding around window interferes with shelf stability and makes shelf sit tilted. Not able to use on my windows. Good for windows without moldings.

I really like it but the reason I only gave it 4 stars is that I can't shut my window all the way. You really need a big gap in where the window closes.

To thick plastic. Didn't work with window.

Shelf is sturdy but doesn't work in the types of windows that are in most newer homes.

Well designed. One drawback. Won't work with replacement windows because they don't have the clearence. Worked well for me. Met my expectations and the description.

Returned it. Plastic shelf was broken when it arrived, which was good because the shelf was much cheaper looking than it should have been for the price.

This thing is junk. Can't close window which holds the shelf in place. poor design.
