A: I bought 3. It's adjustable and once they get in there it sure lock and remember your mags size. It fits both mags. I got glock21 mags in and works great for fast mags changes. Great mag holder

A: Yes I use it for both 9 mm MNP shield single stack and a Glock model 22 40 caliber double stack

**Q: Will this holder hold 31 round mags?**
A: I use it for two magazines that hold 8 bullets each.  If you used taller magazines, they may stick up too high.

**Q: Will this fit the mp shield plus 9mm magazines?**
A: I use Glock double-row 9mm magazine and have no issue at all. According to the Product Description, it fits Model: S&W M&P 9 Shield M2.0. ... Since the Adjustable Side-clips can be re-size, I "believe" that it will fit your requirement. (Repeat, I use Glock, not MP. This is just my believe and hope it may help to answer your question)
