We have a huge dog - she's 110 lbs. and has a deep, deep chest. Very deep chest. She needs the settings to be at their almost-largest, but they hold very well. This harness has helped us walk slightly more gracefully. I don't use the front loop, as it was annoying to both of us to do so (this could be due to angle due to size, or the leash used). We use the top loop to attach the leash, and both of us are very happy on our evening walks. She has even jumped in a river with it on, and all dried perfectly, good as new.

The harness pictured above looks thick and able to handle a big dog. What I received is not as pictured will not purchase again and will go to PetSmart and buy something better then this. Will add picture later Would give it a zero stars if I could.
