Is this suitable for cross stitch and if so what is approximate count

This is incredibly fine fabric, I’ve done cross stitch on linen, but this is definitely more suited to embroidery.

Sorry, but I haven’t done needle punch embroidery. I am using this for cross stitch, single strand silk. The fabric it’s self is good quality linen.
