Redragon K580 VATA RGB USB LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Macro Keys & Dedicated Media Controls, Onboard Macro Recording (Blue Switches)

To be honest, I have not bought this keyboard for gaming purpose. I'm developer and as a developer, we write lot's of code and it requires good keyboard. Before going for Redragon K580 VATA, I looked around for may keyboard and many of recommendation was for TVS gold and Ritcomp Cherry because in India, these are the most common keyboard you can find and even many banks use this same. If you get one of these keyboards, they cost around 2500-3500 which makes no sense to be honest because no backlight and made out of plastic. By Just paying 1500 more, you can get this K580 Vata. So Far, I'm using this keyboard from last one month and the experience with this keyboard is next level. Specially on keyboard, it has volume and keyboard brightness roller which is quite handy and damn satisfying to use. While doing research, I also considered Redragon K586 Brahma which is next gen of k580 vata but it's not available in India. I wish K586 could have launched in India. But still, K580 vata it's really great keyboard and comes with may functionality. Although I have not used every functionality because I'm not Gamer so I can't give gamer's perspective but as a programme and heavy keyboard user, it's really grate. One thing annoys me is, the software is not good. It's to buggy and doesn't work well. This is best keyboard under 5000. I can easily recommend this keyboard. Thanks

Coolest gaming keyboard..

Almost great keyboard. I gave 4 stars because it lacks wrist rest. Nice big fonts on keys and the keyboard with attractive RGB colors. Keys are very smooth to type. Keys not making that much sound as some people claims. Keyboard is heavy and strong for the price. If added wrist rest, keyboard would be complete awesome.

1st keyboard delivered was broken from the sides which made the corner keys unusable (attached pictures). The packing isn’t good. Just the box with keyboard inside a basic bubble wrap which gives 0 protection. Replacement keyboard has scratches and marks of wear n tear on the keys and the body itself. The area around some screws were scratched - meaning it was probably opened at some time so I’m guessing there’s a high chance you’ll not get a first hand keyboard and probably get a refurbished types. Same style of packing there for the replacement keyboard as well. For me it was still acceptable since I replaced the original keys with pudding key caps. They keyboard itself is good. Blue switches are great (loudest so some might not like the sound of the keys) and the keys are also hot swappable. I haven’t had any issues with the software. The only downside about the software is that if you’re using multiple redgear devices, then all devices use different software (I haven’t been able to find a common one for all). The wire for the keyboard is not braided. Accessories included were two different keycap pullers and 5 additional keys, a manual and a redgear dragon logo sticker. The macro keys on top are not illuminated. They have a rubber/plastic like feeling to it. The side illumination looks great and goes well with pudding keycaps if you ever decide to replace them.

The keyboard worked fine for 1 year. Later, 3-4 keys stopped working, i contacted the company and sent the keyboard back to the company for repair ( courier charges at my own cost ). The keyboard worked fine for another year and then again the same problem. Would not buy this keyboard again.

Good budget mechanical keyboard. Comes with 5 spare switches and accessories like a keycap remover. As of writing this review ive been using it daily for 2-3 hours on average for 11 months. I have yet to experience any kind of problems. The default switches is on the noisier side but you can always fix that by replacing the switches you use the most, like wasd, space etc. I don't mind the noise, you brain starts to ignore it pretty quickly.

I have used lots of mechanical keyboard in this price range. But this this is so far the best keyboard I have used. The wide variation of rgb modes are also very attractive. The key also feels very tactile and the feel of key pressing is very good. Plus redragon gives you 8 extra key so that you can replace any key if that is not working which includes 2 Blue, 2 Brown, 2 Black and 2 Red switches so you can experience other types of switches also which is available in the market. So if you are planning for a keyboard with blue switches you should definitely look into this product.

The product is visually appealing and of very good quality.

The keyboard is blue switchs and i happy with the sound when i clicked the quality is very good and rgb so nice thanks reddragon

For a long time I had traditional office keyboards, some pretty good ones that already included some programmable key features, quick-response keys, and commands for multimedia. But there was not a trace of it at night, my favorite time for most of my PC activities, so I had to have a light source shining on the keyboard. The introduction of backlit keyboards has been amazing, something that more than a luxury is very useful. In fact, at the beginning they were very expensive or of very low quality if they were cheap. This is where the Redragon brand comes in. After searching for a long time, I found Redragon and this keyboard model. It has all the above described features, but it went to the next level. Solid metal construction, sturdy keys that intentionally click. I am not bothered by that noise that indicates its effective operation. And of course, the backlight that makes these keys constantly visible without resorting to external lighting. The model includes a numeric pad, something that a keyboard should always have when you do work on a calculator or Excel. Or use them as game key pad, after redirecting the default keys in video games, having all the control in one hand. In the midst of the darkness in which I like to work or play, I am always aware of which key I am using. In addition, Redragon provides complete software to configure the keyboard and assign usage profiles. This is not a fancy keyboard, but one that is durable and full of useful features for easy operation. It's been five years since I bought it, and I have no complaints that make me think of another keyboard. The only failure in all this time is that the volume or lighting roller in the upper right corner fell apart due to breaking the seat of the axis, which turns out to be the only weak point. However, this can be replaced with the "FN" key combination, and then this volume roller is not missed. A great modern keyboard for the needs and pockets of most people.

Redragon dois pas être très connu, mais super bien design au top toute les touches claviers peuvent être contrôler par les led, du coup génial pour faire des groupes de touches, ce repérer ^^ Les touches multimédia sont des plus pratique aussi Évidemment c’est un clavier mécanique donc fait un peu de bruit sur la frappe mais appréciable et agréable à la frappe Excellent rapport qualité/prix (Pour faire un clavier AZERTY on a juste a changer les touches de place) 🤘
