Magnetic woodpecker toy

This turned out to be such a great toy for a toddler. It keeps them entertained while also helping with learning and fine motor skills. The pieces are colorful, well made, and easy for little hands to use. It’s one of those toys that actually keeps their attention longer than expected, and I love that it feels educational without seeming boring. Great quality and definitely worth it. 🐛

It's so hard to buy gifts for grandkids and I was looking for something out of the ordinary. This fit the bill! It's a very simple item but it keeps my grandson busy. He has to have a steady hand to line up the magnet with the worm and then the worm with the hole but he loves the challenge - he picked it up pretty quickly and now he's a pro. I recommend for hand/eye coordination.

Something a little different for our two toddler grands. Boy and girl both liked it. It combines dexterity with make believe and also taking care of a bird. Its so cute. At first we helped them figure out how the magnet worms worked but then they got it on their own. Warning--the worms are small parts that could be dangerous if yours puts anything in their mouth. Or if there are younger babies in the area. Highly recommend for age appropriate toddlers.

My son loves playing with this. He tried to grab the worms with his fingers but they are too deep so he needs to use the tool which is good. He almost a year and is getting there with his dexterity but still struggles a bit to get the tool to grab the worms. A nice addition would be to have a cap to close the top once the worms are in.

Bought this for my toddler's 2nd birthday. He is normally a bull in a China shop....so wanted something that sat him down and made him concentrate, practice those finer hand skills. Wow. Didn't take him long to realise he needed to be gentle. Loves his new toy, especially when it looks like the worms are wiggling The design is super cute, durable enough for a heavy handed tot. It has a wooden base, with plastic insert. The baby chick has a rubber mouth. The mum woodpecker is wooden. The worms are wooden (magnets). We love how at some angles the worms appear to wiggle!! My 2 and 5 year old will spend hours playing this game together. Worth every penny. I think this toy will get a lot of love.

Absolutely love this Montessori toy. My almost 2 year old didn’t quick understand to use it initially but once she got the hang of it, it was uphill from there. It keeps your child occupied for at least 20 minutes, which is amazing for a toy without the lights and sounds. If you’re promoting a Montessori style approach in your home, buy this toy! It teaches hand eye coordination, patience, precision and more! I love how focused my child gets when playing with this. The product itself is made of great quality considering it’s been tossed and thrown around multiple times and has yet to even have a little scrape or crack on it!
