LoonOutdoors UV Wader Repair

Great stuff
I've used it for my waders and a for few miscellaneous things, and it's great. (I'm commenting only on using the adhesive with a UV flashlight; I have no experience just exposing it to sunlight.) As long as I'm not using it in bright sunlight, I can take my time to apply the cement, then I give it a few seconds from the light and I'm done. And the dried cement is pliable, so no brittle material to break.Other adhesives I've used, e.g., Aquaseal, work OK but tend to dry up after the tube is opened, but so far I've never had a problem with this since the Loon stuff stays liquid in its tube. I see some people complain about the cost but since it doesn't take much to work, and the tube can be used for years, it's money well spent. I keep it in my kit, only takes a few minutes to fix leak.

It just works, period!
Had an annoying leak in waders that would wet my sock during a day of fishing. This product applied inside and outside of wader stopped the leak. Used the light method to locate the leak, then corrected the problem with Loon. Applied product laid waders in sun, curd pretty fast, turned right side out and applied to same location; again laid in sun. Good as new. Is now in wader bag in case of future repairs on the river.

Does What It Says It Does
I did not expect this stuff to work as well as it does. A fishing guide used some to repair my waders, so I bought this first chance I had. Just amazing, but you do need some serious sunlight for the product to dry. The repair by my guide took about an hour to set-up on a cloudy day. It took about that much time for it to set-up for me on an alternately sunny/cloudy day with the sun low in the sky. The original repair is still in good shape on a part of the waders that gets abuse.

Good for a quick patch, but seems to get too hard after a month
Fantastic for a quick 1 minute fix for waders. I have used two bottles and I like the stuff. One issue is that it seems to harden up too much after a few weeks and loose flexibility, thus it tends to come of the waders.Still a good product, I just wish it was more permanent.

wader repair cement
This stuff does exactly what it claims to do, and the price was right. Yea the tube was small, but it was more that enough for what I needed.I developed a small pin hole leak in my 5mm neoprene waders, and purchased a tube the Loon UV repair cement along with the UV flash light (as it turns out , I never used the flash light). If you have the option of a bright sky with plenty of sun, you won't need the flash light. One coat of the UV cement would probably have worked, but because the leak was in an area of the waders that had a fold in it, I applied three coats. The UV cement dries clear and hard and very fast, so smooth it out before you cure it.Can't account for the other products for wader repair, but this stuff worked just fine for what I needed.

It works!!
I bought this for my grandson who had a L-shaped hole in his waders! It worked great! He put the stuff on the hole, set his waders on the hood of his truck and left them in the sun for several hours. I don't know how this stuff works but it does! Definitely recommend!

Works as advertised
Enough product for cleaning several reels. Absorbent pad needs improvement.

Very easy and quick way to patch small hole in my waders.
Fixed a good sized puncture in my neoprene boots. Dried quickly with my UV light. Took two applications but used very little of the tube. I will always keep this stuff with my wading gear.

The product did what it was supposed to do. ...
The product did what it was supposed to do. I should have read, though: I didn't realize I was getting such a tiny bottle for ten bucks. Oh well, at least my neoprene waders don't leak anymore.
