The costume is as described but I bought an s(8 to 10 yo) and is way too big for my 9 yo son, and he is not underweight or smaller then he should... Well, we'll keep it for next year....

These a great shorts. I bought them for my skinny but tall 14 year old and we have a very happy boy (it takes a lot!). I got the colourful smoke ones and they have gone down well. The finish is good but they are a little on the large size so go down a size if you are not sure. The material will hold up well to the ravages of the beach - a really good buy.
