I bought these for a biking trip I was taking and OMG I wish I hadn't. While the shorts fit pretty decent, other than feeling like you are walking with a diaper on because of the gel inserts, they are super short like booty shorts. Now I get that they are advertised as underwear shorts so that is probably how they should be, but after a day of riding my thighs were actually swollen where these rode up and pinched the top inner thigh. They chaffed my legs on top of the swelling and I was in so much pain I would never wear these again and returned them. The gel inserts did make sitting on the bike bearable. I would just recommend buying a pair that are longer in the leg like actual shorts. This way they do not ride up or chaff your legs.

I’m 5’3” and 180lbs. I usually fit a medium in all my athletic bottoms, but these run small. I definitely should have bought a large, as these are really tight around my thighs. Other than that, they are comfortable and make riding my spin bike comfy as well.

Unfortunately, we were terribly disappointed in this investment. We are working on Eagle merit badges for cycling and hoped we could minimize the discomfort with a new seat and new padded shorts. These shorts did not have a gel-like or memory foam type padding feel. They actually emphasized the discomfort. We didn't go on a full ride, just tried them on for fitting and if the seat would work. It didn't.The fit was off, too. We have a 12yo about 80lbs. and sized up to Medium. The rear of the shorts do not go high enough to cover the rump.The elastic waistband has too much give in it also. It's like the elastic was loose in the construction of the shorts. We really wanted these to work, but we have to return since they do not fit the bill in fit or function.

Ok, so as a beginner, these are awesome. I took 1 cycling class 7 years ago and vowed on all that was holy not to ever do it again. But a friend was doing one and invited me. I purchased these and another. These are my favs! I can say these really work! It covers your kibble & bits, nicely. I was a little sore, but that was due to user error. I was excited to finally receive my cycling shorts. I normally ride for 60-90 minutes per day. My bike seat is very uncomfortable so I decided to purchase these shorts. They feel good on me but they fit extremely low on the waist so there is no tummy support. I started feeling discomfort after 45 minutes into my bike ride. I was so disappointed because I expected complete comfort. I have not used them a second time because I decided to purchase a wider bike seat which is working for me.

These took FOREVER to arrive but once they did I was very happy. I have 2 other pairs of actual name brand bike shorts and these underwear are wayyyy more padded than those! I want more! If I’m willing to wait... ugh!

I use this for my stationary bike. The first 2 weeks without this was torture, now I can ride up to 10 miles with much less saddle soreness on my bum. Fits true to size (until I lost weight). Great extra padding for a hard seating. Fits nicely under or over my workout pants and shorts. Finishing up week 5 now and I am almost ready for a smaller size!

I contacted the seller...they need to sew acrosss elastic in waistband at four points. The elastic twists up majorly inside the casing, not able to flatten out at all, had to cut out elastic, and plan on sew in non-roll elastic. Now I have holes in a new pair of bike shorts in the waistband casing, not happy. Will see what seller does after I wrote them about this big flaw. I hand washed/air dried shorts so this comes from wearing them. Great pdding and comfortable but......

These work well for me being a larger lady, size 18/20, as getting full cycling shorts for my size seem nearly impossible. As I do have large thighs the shorts legs do have a tendancy to roll a little but overall work well.I am able to spend longer on the indoor bike with this padding so hopefully will get smaller thighs.

I looked elsewhere on line and they say to were without underwear I did it felt weird but they work. Does feel like a massive sanitary towel between the legs and not great to walk in but my undercarriage was unbruised after a longish ride. Will definitely buy another pair.

I carefully checked my measurements against the sizing chart, waist measurement fell into L hips into XL so I picked the XL to be on the safe side.Unfortunately while I can get them on the waist sits really low and is tighter than I'd like, especially bearing in mind I sized up on the waist measurements.The fabric itself is stretchy but the hem at the bottom isn't so they're too tight around the thigh and keep rolling up and rubbing. Also although they say the seams are comfortable I disagree, did a 45 min ride yesterday and had some rubbing. In fairness if they fit better that may not be an issue.The padding did the job but if you're buying these be aware even based on the size chart they're small.

These are very comfortable shorts. My only criticism is that they are a little low at the back but otherwise great. Well made and look like they will be durable. The padding is in just the right place and they can be worn under leggings, shorts or anything you want to cycle in. Very versatile. I'm happy with my purchase.

Padding could be simplified for comfort, but does the job and the materials are really stretchy and breathable. Super value for money.
