Give your kids what they ask for! This was a gift for our nine-year-old grandson. He loves the Arizona Cardinals, and wore his helmet and jersey for the first two days, all day. The helmet might get involved in a scrap game if other kids in the neighborhood show up wearing helmets too; it happens. Rolie loves tackle football (school), which suggests that someday, we won't believe the next evolution in football. This was a terrific purchase for my almost 4-year-old son at Christmas. It has almost been a year, and this helmet gets lots of love nearly daily. The fit is quite large on his little head, but there's a lot of room for growth. I can fit it on *my* head, albeit snugly, so I'm not concerned that he'll grow out of it. The chin strap attaches with snaps. I did not attach it right away, thinking it would more than likely frustrate him. I put it on a few months later, however, and it just stays on all the time and he stretches it to cover it over his chin. The face mask is a durable, plastic-covered metal, or so it seems. Definitely not cheap plastic.He hasn't worn the jersey yet as it's 2-3 sizes too big. The material is mesh-like with fairly large holes...it reminds me of the old-school pinnies we used to wear in phy. ed. class as a kid. Vikings logo is only on the front....there is no number on the back. All in all, great set, and we have been very pleased.

Okay I was a little skeptical to buy this especially when it was listed for only $12.99. However, I will let you in a a secret..... It is actually under priced for the quality of the item. My kid loved it!! The shirt fits large on him almost to his knees he normally wears a size 6. The helmet is of good quality and he actually slept in the whole get-up. The chin strap is very long but who cares??.... I was surprisingly pleased with this deal. It comes package in a wonderful box with the helmet on display and the NFL Logo. The jersey is actually made of jersey type material. I thought it would be more of a T-Shirt. Boy, I could not be more wrong. The only thing I hate is that I did not order more when they were cheaper. I think the current price is around $24.99. This was an excellent go to for a birthday present under $13.00. I am in love with this product and my child is smiling from ear to ear! Thanks, Amazon!

This is a great gift! We got this for a 7 year old boy and he was so excited! It is perfect size, weight, and style! It got four stars just because it’s not great quality, but he can’t tell the difference, and it’s what I expected

I read many of the reviews on this product prior to purchasing and initially was a bit hesitant that the helmet wouldn't fit my son. I was pleasantly surprised and my son is elated with this set.One reviewer said that the jersey 'wouldn't fit a teddy bear'. That must be one very large teddy bear as both the helmet and jersey fit both my 4 year old son and my 7 year old daughter. Actually, both my husband and I can fit the helmet on our heads. :) The helmet is a bit large on my son's heard, once he gets it on, as it is a bit tight near the ear pads. I have purchased foam inserts made or bike helmets to add extra padding so it doesn't slip down over his eyes.This is a great set if you are looking for something for your kids to wear around the house to 'play' in and not to play actual football. I would definitely recommend the product for that purpose.

Update. After about a month. The helmet is still awesome, however the Jersey is utter GARBAGE I threw it away because the ink ran, and smuged and the printing was just a complete mess. I still love the helmet. It is a perfect display piece but if youre getting this for a child don’t expect super high quality or for it to last a few wears. The printing will most likely chip, fade and smudge like mine did.I got this as a display, for my tv room. I always wanted a full size replica helmet but they’re so expensive. This does the job (if your not picky about it being Franklin) the $12 I paid for it was totally worth it looks awesome on the tv stand.Colors are accurate, decals are decent. It’s all plastic, and more matte than glossy like real game helmets but for the tv room or a bar display can’t really beat it. best part is an adult can wear it (im a 5’7 adult female) and it fits with a little room to spare. I had no use for the Jersey I just wanted the helmet so my dog got the shirt and now we’re ready for kick off!!All in all very happy with my purchase!
