Tasty treat made in Russia
Purchased this to use with an immigrant project in my granddaughters forth grade class. She chose Russia and this tasty treat was a great representation of the treats Russian peasants used to make from fruit since they could not afford to purchase sugar.

Do NOT BUY CONTAINS LEAD AND CHEMICALS
This item ahas a caution label that says it’s dangerous and contains lead and other chemicals and can’t be sold in California. Bought this for my kids Russian food night and I will not let them eat this. Item is unopened and they will not accept returns. If it is so dangerous it requires a label than it shouldn’t be sold!!! Especially for kids!!

REALLY sweet!
I like trying new food and didn't know what to expect. I read about how these are made by whipping up apples for hours and hours, so I wanted to try some. It's REALLY sweet. If you like really sweet food this might be for you!

Pastila was stale and hard.
Was disappointed when received the item. Pastila was hard and stale. Not as it should be. not worth the money paid.

not a very good quality, also expensive for what you get
I've purchased pastila in the past from a local store, and it was much fresher, tastier and less expensive. This pastila did not do it for me.
