The arms have elastic in them so they do stretch. The waist part of the shirt is also a little stretchy. It is a very comfortable shirt.

Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, with like colors. Line dry.

The torso part under the bust and throughout the back has some stretch to it.

Q: What is the fabric content?

It's a pretty top. The top bodice where it is gathered, shoulders, and sleeves feel like a cotton type fabric that needs ironing. This is after being washed and hung to dry. The bottom is stretchy and thicker. More comfortable for moving around, I suppose, because it is fitted, but not what I expected. I had hoped for all cotton. If you couldn't read the label well enough it's 80% polyester 20% cotton 70% rayon 20% nylon, and I don't understand what it means 1.6 percent spandex and it says ... wash dark colors separately, do not iron PU. ... well you have to iron the sleeves at least and even the top bodice depending on how tidy you want it. ... and it's made in China
