The wood core plyo box is very sturdy and doesn't rock or move around when doing box jumps. It has a nice weight to it which greatly improves the stability. The flipside to that is moving it around takes a bit more effort; tradeoffs. However, remember the point of excercise is to put in work. So really it's a bonus and it's not overly heavy either way. You can also just roll it end over end to wherever you want if you find it difficult to pick up. The cover seems durable and has a slight texture for traction. The firm 1" foam padding provides a nice layer of protection for your shins. It especially inspires confindence at the 30" height. You are not as worried about the outcome of a miss which allows you to focus on the excercise itself. The box feels nice and firm under foot when landing on it with just enough give to cushion impact. I have used mine multiple times before writing this review and am very happy with it. It's been a great addition to my home gym. As an added bonus my kids like climbing on it and I don't have to worry about them getting banged up since it's padded and doesn't tip over.

I bought the wooden core box that goes to 30” for my basketball playing teen son and am pleasantly surprised with the quality. I feel he is safe jumping on this and it doesn’t slide all around. I believe it weighs around 40lbs. It’s not real easy to move around, but can be done. What’s most important to me is that he is safe, and I feel confident that he is. This is a great product!

I love this box. Great nonalip surface, sturdy, doesn’t tip at all. Large enough surface to be comfortable landing when you are just beginning. I bought a set of the metal squares first. I think this is way better. Smaller increments to increase. The 3 squares were 12/18/24. I would never make it from 12-18. Made it to 14 in one week.

Great! I waited a month before I did the review and it has held up. It is firm and holds it shape, unlike foam ones. The outer cover protects your shins from those box jumps. We’ve used it for many things including assisted pull ups. Great product

Seems sturdy and does the job. There's barely any foam, so the "Soft-Padded" part of the product name isn't super accurate. The edges are hard so if you slipped off and hit an edge or corner it would probably hurt! The boxes at my gym that are some other brand have way more padding, which I like a lot better. But that aside, the Plyo-Box will help me keep my legs strong.

Super sturdy and does not move when jumping on it. Great size for step ups too.

Just received it today. It’s very and strong using it for a jump box for my son or a step up for myself. I am very satisfied it is definitely working as advertised.

Perfect box for stepping or jumping. Very solid, easy to clean, great addition to our home gym.
