I've lived my whole life without this. I'm not sure why. Bananas would get mangled in the fruit bowl. Their offgassing would cause other fruits to turn riper faster than they should. But now! Lo! A simple banana hook, and all of that is in the distant past. It seems dumb. Once you get one you'll never go back. Friends don't let friends leave their bananas in the bottom of the fruit bowl.
