A Doorway to Summer could be considered the best prog rock demo-tape ever released. The five songs on the album were the first five songs ever produced by the band Moon Safair. Tomas Bodin from the Flower Kings co-produced, mixed and mastered the album.

Great Album
I first knew this group by their second album "Blomljud" and fell in love instantly with it. So, after a few months I decided to buy also their first album "Doorway To Summer" in orther to have 'em all. I find this album a very good one, but by no means as good as their second. The group seems a lot more mature and articulate an album after.Though a great album, if you're new to this swedish band I suggest to go for "Blomljud" first if you can find it. Otherwise get this one but keep in mind that there's more to Moon Safari.

This is a must have for Prog Rock fans
I discovered this band through The Flower Kings web site - Wow! These guys are really really good! Melodies, harmonies, musicianship and songwriting are all fabulous! I can't wait to purchase the rest of their music. I could go on and on about them but why waste your time - go out and buy this now!

excellent album by Swedish Prog Rock Band. I will be seeing them perform at CTTE in April 2014 and wanted to listen to their catalog.

The Sound Of Summer
Swedish group Moon Safari have made a beautiful album here. Five strong songs varying from 7 to 24 minutes in length contain lush melodies that spin around your head long after listening. The group have tamed the ambition of prog rock with more focused songs and incredibly tight vocal harmonies that make them one the best new bands I've heared in ages. Look out for their second album entitled 'Blomljud' too. Recommended.

cousins des "flower kings" la musique de "moon safari" est très chaleureuse et pastorale, contrastant avec ses origines scandinaves,ce premier album est déjà un coup de maître.les compositions,l'instrumentation ainsi que les harmonies vocales sont excellentes.le double album "blomljud" qui suivra confirmera le talent de ce groupe de haut niveauà placer entre les "flower kings" et "kaipa"
