Bees: A lift-the-flap eco book (Ladybird Eco Books) Board book – 4 Mar. 2021

I bought this book for my 5 year old brother who has a fear of bees. I got this book so that he could understand why bees are important and that they won't sting for no reason. He has taken in a lot of info from this book and found it really interesting, which made my day. He is still a little scared, but not as much. All in all, a win in my eyes.

This book is beautiful and suitable for children of all ages and adults too. This book is informative, interesting and it is really nicely set out, the lift the flaps have interesting facts along with beautiful illustrations. I bought this to use with my reception class, I think they will love it. I love that the book is eco friendly too... Im off to design a bee hotel, ideas for that are in there too!

Even though it's a "lift the flap" book, the quality of information is great. It meant even my lower attaining y5 children could still access a book about our topic. Other children in class also enjoyed it and the physical act of opening flaps to find information didn't make them feel it was a bit young for them.

My son loves open the flap books:) this one has lovely illustrations and great information about bees. I got it for my 3-year-old so have to simplify some of the sentences a little bit. He really enjoys reading it and he’s already very excited about helping the bees:) we’re going to sow wildflower seeds and attempt to build a bug hotel:)

Loved the sturdy book, ideal for toddlers. Really well made, will last a long time even with toddlers hands grabbing the flaps etc. Wonderful book explaining everything about bees and how important they are to the environment. Loved it!

Buying more books like this.. So informative and lovely. Such a good gift for anyone trying to be more eco friendly! Would be a great addition to a science class for kids!

Really informative and pitched perfectly for the recommended age group. The flaps are an added bonus. Made from eco friendly material too.

Lovely gift, little ones parents liked it but I didn't like the lack of colour in this eco range.
