The larger versions "Mini~Me"!==>Physical Therapist Approved!
1.Pocket Stretching Book is a perfect size for my gym bag. I put it in a zip lock bag to keep it nice.2.My brother is a Chiropractor and he gave me the larger version over twenty years ago.3.I used it so much, that years later I had to take it to an office supply store to have them hole punch and add a plastic binder down the spine of the book. I actually liked it better because it laid out flat.4.My Physical Therapist was very impressed with this book and its size.5.She was able to tag the stretches that were perfect for my situation/injury.6.Thank you Bob Anderson for your simple to follow stretching books!

Great for travel!
Love that this is like the main book but in a compact version so I can take it with me when I travel. Before I found this, I would copy pages from the main book and shove them in my suitcase. It contains all the stretching reminders I need to help keep my aching low back, neck, and sciatica from flaring up too badly.

Excellent easy to read guide in a convenient size
Excellent book. Easy to use and a convenient size. I can just toss it into my gym bag and carry it with me. The illustrations make it easy to see which muscles are involved in the stretches. I ended up giving the book to my trainer as a gift as he is really helpful and kind. I'm planning to buy another one for me!

The original and still the best guide to sport/activity-specific stretching
The original and still the best guide to sport/activity-specific stretching. I have been using my original Stretching book for over 30 years (which I cut off the binding and put in a 3 ring binder). I wanted a pocket version for traveling. 3 stars for not being spiral bound - are you kidding me?!

great book for learning stretching exercises
Bought this to stay limber. My only criticism is that there are too many exercises to learn. I concentrate on golf ones and they are very helpful.

If your over 70, this is a 'must have' book
An ex army PTI, now 82 with whom I walk every Saturday gave me a photocopied sheet of 22 exercises he had been given by a physio twenty years ago. They were copied from an earlier version of this book. I spent 30 minutes every morning doing some of these exercises for the last six months. I'm more flexible and they have ameliorated severe back and knee pain. I bought it with Brad Walker's book Sports Injuries which gives useful further information on pain sites and injuries.

Missing pages
Several pages have been removed from the book. Only found out when I was looking for certain exercises.Looking for feet/ankle stretches page 54, this page had been skilfully removed. I then went on to another 3 pages missing. Annoyingly as these were the stretches I needed.

Separate stretching routines for individual sporting activities.
As a Sports Therapist, I use this regularly. It has clearly defined sections for separate sporting activities & also a mini stretch option where time is limited. Includes an Every Day section and stretches to do at the office. Great book from a reputable author.

A little gem
I am gradually working through this little book of stretches. They are (to me) very Yoga based. The instructions and illustrations are easy to follow - I like the way the exercises build up to stronger stretches. My favourite illustration is on page 25 caption;' Handknit Vegetable Dyed Wool Hat!
