Having suffered a reduction in signal strength (thank you 3) with constant internet outages I decided to give these little external aerials a go. Signal strength has improved & outages reduced. Be aware that you may have to go into your router settings to change from internal to external aerial, there is plenty via Google to show how to do this.

Did the job

These don't work with auto detect external antenna routers. 4G antenna are a mine field of choices. fitting these to my Huawei portable router did not improve signal strength at all from 1 bar. I did read somewhere that Huawei on some of their routers auto detect external antenna by a specific resistance. So when looking for an antenna it's luck if you will get antenna that have this resistor added to trigger the use of external antenna. Seller will say for Huawei but not all Huawei routers use this feature. I now have a big pile of useless antenna. But finally found ones that work. Used SWR meter to test and the Antenna is no good for the the 3 network which use 800MHz 20 4G (LTE)1400MHz 32 4G (LTE)1800MHz 3 4G (LTE)2100MHz 1 3G and 4G (LTE)

Pretty much what the title say's, not much difference in signal strenght which is dissapointing.

used with EE hybrid box which has a wired connection to BT hub in case broadband goes down seemsok to date

Improved the Wi-Fi signal from 2 to 3 bars . Well packaged , easy for and arrived on time

Easy to install alright but it didn’t work with my bt line , no signal at all..
