Huge regrets but then Customer Service
Warning - Read the reviews! The puzzle looks fun but most of the border pieces (I didn't' go any further) do not connect. Bad cutting and really not able to play.Update: I contacted the company and they immediately replaced the puzzle. Great and friendly customer service. I changed from a one star to a five star! Thanks!!

a lot going on
how could you not like this puzzle? there is so much going on everywhere. the puzzle pieces don't match up at the corners of other pieces like so many puzzles; some of the puzzle pieces are really big and some are almost tiny, and they lay around not trying to meet up with another piece. there was some puzzle dust, enough to make me sneeze when I worked on it, but unless it would make you sick, don't pass this by because of dust. it had a musty smell that never completely went away but whatever. there was no poster picture which was a big drawback to me because the box picture was smaller than the puzzle and often didn't help at all. I needed a magnifying glass. the puzzle pieces are thick and snap together which sometimes was a challenge with this tilted board I work on. the colors were accurate and I didn't have any missing pieces. for me this puzzle was a challenge to get started, but once I found my rhythm, things went great. I think this puzzle was a bigger value than the cost because there was so much going on and it was all delightful. it might be a challenge for kids, but with so much quirky stuff, they would have a blast. especially if you helped.

Medium to hard puzzle but lots of fun
I really enjoyed putting this puzzle together. I did it by myself and spent around 11 hours total. It was missing pieces but I contacted Springbok and they are sending me a new puzzle at no cost to me. I did not contact the seller as this was not an option I was provided on Amazon.

Good challenging puzzle
I used to solve jigsaw puzzled as a kid, and even solved a few on an Android tablet a while back.I recently solved an abstract jigsaw puzzle with my niece, and my interest in solving jigsaw puzzles was reignited. Of course, being the competitive self that I am, I decided to go for one of the harder puzzles - 1000 pieces seemed about right to see how things start.I wanted an image that was fairly complex, something abstract, and this image fits the bill.I have spent about 2 hours so far, and I think I've solved some very small portions.* I try doing puzzles without looking at the reference image since this makes it harder. If you solve it with a reference image, you could solve it much quicker.* It took me 22 minutes just to place all the pieces face down on a large table.* The issue with a puzzle this large is, it is very hard to be able to spot a piece you are looking for since it is over such a large surface. If you put it on a dining table, like I did, and sit on a chair, you will not be able to see most pieces.* I would like to take my time and enjoy solving it, but I am anxious about missing pieces.Once I solve it, I intend on flipping it over, and writing piece numbers on it, and see if there are actually 1000 pieces.EDIT: After about 4-5 days of spending 45 mins - 1 hour each, and the puzzle having taken over my dining table :), I have come to the conclusion that this is much harder to solve without looking at the reference image than I had anticipated. I made good progress on some portions of the puzzle, and almost got all the edges. (it was hard to locate all edge pieces, and I still haven't located all.) However, it would take weeks to do it without a reference. So, I decided to look at the image, and now solving it is smoother going. Larger sections have been assembled, and when I look at a piece, I have some idea as to where it should go :D I think I could finish it in a few more hours.I finally finished this puzzle and happy to report that all the pieces were present!

Fun
The artist did a great job with all the silly characters. This made it fun to build. The pieces are thicker and larger than most puzzles. A really good quality.
