Good stuff
Decided today was the day I attempted this. Both chairs longer / lower section has rotted over three years out in all weathers.Had a good look at the initial loop through at the bottom and worked my way up. Keeping as much tension as I could. After the leg section you move into the seat and keep the core untangled and under tension as best you. Final bit loop back and flick aglates to anchorSecond side a lot quicker but tension needed more work. As first side settledTwo short ones for back to goThen order another pack for second chair seem to be decent quality hopefully get another two or more years out of the chairs

Good quality and easy to fit I am 82 yrs old
This is a very good product just what I needed to repair my relaxing chair. Very easy to use and a very successful repair job. Tip. Do one side at a time to copy old one.

Fixed chair for £7
Fixed garden chair I only needed to fit one long cord to bottom section took 45 mins . Cord plenty long enough just copy the other side and keep pulling tight as you go.

Cords too short
The pack contains 2 shorter cords and 2 longer cords to do 2 back sides and 2 seat sides ie 1 sun lounger. If you follow the old lacing pattern on your lounger, each cord is folded in half and laced through double from an initial loop knot. Simple enough through the riveted eyelet reinforcement in the fabric and the metal loops on the frame. BUT the cords are not long enough to complete the run this way double thick and you cannot pull them tight enough. See my photos which clearly show this. This is bungee type cord but even pulling it as tight as it will go, they will not be long enough and you risk tearing the fabric as it will be too taut. So your dilemma. Use the cord single like a shoe lace or buy two pack and put 2 longer length together unfolded, enough to do half a lounger! Get me? I think the people having success must have either just reclining chairs or using single thickness cord. My photos will clarify what I mean. If you buy 2 packs and you've forked out £18 and your lounger is showing other wear its barely economical to repair the lounger, you're halfway way to a new one!! Typical Chinese stuff. Not impressed but enough cord for half a job!
