Ranger Ready Picaridin Insect Repellent, Ranger Orange Scent - DEET-Free Travel Size Bug Spray (3.4 Oz, Pack of 1)

I bought this for my little 7 year old grandson. Nothing seemed to help. He as so torn up with bites and was itching so bad. I started searching for something else and ran across Ranger Ready so I bought one. He hasn't been bit since. He just seen me writing this and he said it works great and everyone should use it. It works epically. Those are his words. They is a very mild scent when you first spray it on but that disappears very quickly when it is dry. If I could give more stars I would.

Bought the bundle pack for summer since the bugs love me and my kids. It was a must! And a healthier version than deet. It has a good smell but can be a little strong. We will go with a non-scented version next time.

Finally a natural bug spray without mint!! As someone with scent sensitivity this bug spray is amazing! Although it does have a light scent (nothing is truly every scent less) once it dries to go away. Super light and natural on the skin, doesn’t leave grease.

I love that Picaridin doesn’t damage fabrics or feel oily like deet products. And this product is a great size providing better value. My complaint is the bottle and sprayer. It’s awkward to hold. There’s a lock on the neck of the bottle to prevent leaking when not in use but that lock is in the one place I could comfortably hold the sprayer. I kept activating the lock as I tried to apply. I ended up transferring the contents to a spray bottle that was easier to use. The good news is the lock worked as designed so this may not be a problem for everyone.

Actually works!!!! I tried using Off and this year these new tiger mosquitoes just did not care at all about it. Switched to picaridin instead since I heard it's effective and it totally is! There's not really a smell to it either. You do like kind of sense it when you first spray it but then you're all good. It doesn't take a lot either. I just use a few sprays on my legs and arms and it keeps them away. Can't speak on ticks or anything but mosquitoes, all good.

This has been a bad season for ticks already. We went to an dirt bike woods race with the whole family a few weeks ago. As soon as we got there, without taking a single step out of the truck, I hung my legs out of the open doors and doused my feet and up to my knees with this stuff. Unlike other tick sprays I have used before, this had little to no smell. It dried completely and was not greasy at all. Within 10 minutes several people in our party were picking entire tick nests off of their legs. I still had no ticks. We were at this race in the woods for an entire day. I applied only one time when we first arrived at about 8:00. AM. At 3:00PM the race was over and we were standing around waiting to get the race results at the scoring booth. Everyone was complaining about how many teeny tiny ticks they had on themselves during the day. I looked down and I finally had one single seed tick on my foot walking up my leg. That was the first tick I had seen all day long. I walked back to the truck and reapplied the spray from my feet up to my knees and I never had another tick. People were complaining for about a week after the race that they were still finding teeny tiny ticks on themselves and their kids. Not me! This is going to be our new summer staple for a camping, dirtbike racing and any outdoor activities.

I purchased this because mosquito’s and black flies love to bite me. This solution does work somewhat but not as well as I’d hoped. I live in Maine and summers bring in the bugs in droves. I have used it several times and I’m sure it keeps some of the bugs from biting but I still end up with lots of bites.

Hello, I am very very pleased with this product. I am a gardener and I love being outside however the bugs love me more which puts a damper on my activities. I used this product and oh my goodness! I can see the mosquitoes, biting flies and gnats turnaround so fast when I wear this product.One thing I will point out is that the spray bottle leaks. All three of my bottles were leaking. This product is too good to waste with leakage. Thank you! I’m free from mosquito bites 😃

I trekked Mount Kenya September 2025 and used this stuff constantly until higher up in the mountains where you don’t get many mozzies, loved the stuff
