Review: So far so good - I haven’t used pastels much but a professor recommended this to me and wow I love the smoothness and how pigmented it is. I use a palette knife with a sponge on it to blend it out and it works blends great. I will say that it’s a bit hard to erase once you put it down, but it’s not horribly bad. I feel like the size is reasonable and you can get a lot out of it. I was scared it was going to come broken in the mail, but all the material was still compact!
Review: Great for doll customizing - I got these pastels to use for blythe doll customizing. It is so pigmented and beautiful. The color is strong and stays on with only one brush. It looks natural and comes with in a pretty big palate so I imagine I'll be using it for years. The color comes on smooth when using a blush brush. It does stain your surface upon use so you'll want to be careful when adding it to a project. Since purchasing I've been able to use it on so many different projects. By far the best pastels I've ever used

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blending Heaven
*by R***W on August 31, 2026*

Pan Pastels are hands down the best thing for backgrounds in my coloring books. It creates such a soft blended look that is hard to achieve with other mediums. Not to mention that they’re erasable.
